The space
The cottage is a private, single-level home designed for comfort, calm, and ease of use. At approximately 425 square feet, the space is thoughtfully laid out to feel open, light-filled, and highly functional rather than compact.

Large windows bring in garden and river views, connecting the interior to the surrounding trees and water. The living area offers comfortable seating and a relaxed layout suited for reading, unwinding, or quiet evenings in.

The kitchen is fully equipped and designed for real cooking, with quality cookware, coordinated place settings, and generous prep space. Dining is flexible: an indoor table seats four comfortably, with additional outdoor dining options available near the river and under a large umbrella for shaded meals.

The bedroom is a restful retreat with direct access to the full bathroom. Sleep comfort is intentionally customizable, with a curated pillow selection and layered bedding to suit different preferences. The bathroom includes a bathtub/shower combination and ample storage.

A dedicated workstation with a height-adjustable standing desk and ergonomic chair makes the space well suited for remote work or extended stays. Fast fiber internet and strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout the cottage and grounds support both work and streaming with ease.

The cottage has its own private entrance and dedicated parking. Two steps lead to the front entrance, and the home is otherwise single level once inside.

Fun fact: I created the first website for Nike!
While it is always tough to leave my two besties, my Aussies, Beethoven and Etta James, I enjoy traveling and incorporating attending music and events while experiencing new cultures. I generally travel solo and try my best to travel light, focusing on experiences over packing and unpacking! I appreciate and respect the opportunity to be welcomed into one’s home and business and treat each visit with its due respect. I am 4x vaccinated against Covid and had my run in with it in Jan, 22 so very well protected! Cheers to travel again and the opportunities extended! — kristin
