The space
**Staring in late November we are getting in the Christmas spirit with living room and bubble tent ready for your holiday festivities! The living room will have a beautiful, chic, and modern Christmas theme with gold, silver, and white accents, a Christmas tree, and wreaths. The bubble tent will get a fun snowflake projector for the ceiling and plush blanket and pillow for romantic winter stargazing. And of course, we will have plenty of hot cocoa to go around as you come back in to warm up in the comfortably equipped farmhouse.**

Upon arrival you will drive down an old dirt/gravel road through beautiful farm fields and will possibly be greeted by a deer or wild turkey. The house sits on a 1+ acre secluded plot surrounded by mature trees and lovely farm fields; it is safe and perfect for the kids to run around on! There is a deck overlooking the forest with an outdoor dining area and BBQ. There's also a fire pit equipped with outdoor lighting, recliner chairs, and a fully stocked S'mores station. And did we mention there is a heated BUBBLE tent with a star projector and telescope for stargazing? Stillwater is one of the best stargazing areas in all of Pennsylvania so whether you want to enjoy an hour looking up at the heavens or feel adventurous and want to sleep out under the stars, this is a unique opportunity you won’t find in many places!
Inside you will enter into a comfortable, modern farmhouse living room equipped with couch, comfy chair, and streaming TV, which includes Disney + and Netflix among other channels (note: the Wifi is a bit spotty at times.) The kitchen features an oven, stovetop, full-sized refrigerator, farmhouse sink, waffle maker, popcorn machine, dishwasher, and microwave as well as any cooking utensils you need to cook a proper meal. The coffee and tea station is equipped with a glass pour-over coffee urn, single-serve coffee machine, coffee grinder, and your choice of complimentary coffees, teas, and hot cocoa. Also downstairs you will enjoy a lovely 8-seat farmhouse dining table with a beautiful chandelier overhead. And finally, grab a good book or enjoy a cup of tea while taking in stunning forest views in the sunroom, which boasts a large daybed and hanging succulent décor.
The second floor hosts three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom is decorated with simple farmhouse elegance and boasts a queen bed with memory foam mattress, microfiber sheets, and plush pillows. The second bedroom is astronomy themed and contains a queen memory foam mattress/pillows as well as microfiber sheets. The final bedroom houses 2 bunk beds and is perfect for children. With a whimsical firefly mural, children’s tent, star night light, TV with DVD player, and plenty of children’s toys, it is a space that is designed for both play and for rest.
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible and offer the following amenities:
• Memory foam mattresses for each queen bedroom. Overall there are 2 queen beds, 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds), and one twin day bed. An additional queen bed is outside in the bubble tent if you want to enjoy a night under the stars.
• Microfiber sheets and memory foam pillows
• A fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer and comfortable towels
• Pour over coffee and tea station with Pirouline chocolate wafer sticks
• A full kitchen with standard appliances and everything you need to make a delicious meal
• Popcorn machine with popcorn
• Box air conditioning units in dining room, living room, and both queen bedrooms. The other bedroom has a window fan that, together with the cool night air in Stillwater, keeps everyone comfortable.

Finally, a few notes to set the right expectations for your stay:
- Wifi may be a bit slow if streaming from multiple devices.
- This is a rural farmhouse and while we try to control insects as much as we can, it is nearly impossible to do so entirely. There may be a stray spider or fly.
- The house is not set up perfectly for those with limited accessibility. All bedrooms are on the second floor and the stairs are typical farmhouse style (they are steep). There is a baby gate available if you need it.
Guest access
The entire house is accessible for you, with the exception of the unfinished basement, which is locked. The grass yard and amenities surrounding the house are also completely at your disposal. For your safety and out of respect for our neighbors we ask that you do not trespass on their property (signs are posted).
