Our Serene Family Ranch is 9 miles south of Cedar City in the quaint Kanarraville, UT. Rent the Ranch for your Reunion, Wedding, or Event. Feed mini highland cows right from your window! A totally unique experience! Play with our mini animals; goats, sheep, pigs, cats, alpaca, donkeys and more!

This listing includes all 4 guest homes! Perfect for larger families and groups up to 20.
Any additional guests will have an additional nightly fees.
Please enjoy our animals around the ranch outside, but Do Not bring them into guest homes, including the cats and chickens. They are outdoor animals and are not house trained.
Each guest home has room for 1-2 vehicles. Parking is free, and there is plenty of space for extra vehicles if needed.
When you rent the ranch you will enjoy: 4 separate Guest homes, 4 Private Hot Tubs, 4 propane fire pits, guest laundry area, and our many small animal pastures.
Guests are welcome to enter the small animal pastures including sheep, goats and donkeys. But Do Not enter Highland Cow pastures or any other pasture that does not have a 'come on in' sign. This is for your safety, and the safety of our animals.

This is a working Ranch! Please expect the sights and smells of farm life. We clean the pastures daily, and our animals are well groomed. However, along with animals comes dust, dirt, bugs, flies, manure, mud, etc! If these small inconveniences will bother you during your stay, this might not be the best fit for your family.
We love animals! However, for our animals heath and safety, as well as the health and safety of guests, we do not allow outside animals on our ranch. Thanks for understanding.

Guest access
Plenty of room for parking at The Grand Ranch! Each guest home can fit up to 2 vehicles. If you're bringing your ATVs, boats, or other toys to enjoy Utah's many state and national parks and outdoor recreation, please let us know before hand and we can accommodate a space to park near your guest home.
Private to Guests:
Each guest home has a completely private living space, including bedroom, bathroom, loft, kitchen, living area, parking area, front porch, and back patio with private hot tub and private gas fire pit. Each home has private parking for up to 2 cars.
Each guest home has a Private Pasture with some of our miniature highland cattle. You can pet and feed the animals over the fence, but please, for your safety, do not enter. These pastures are off limits for guests. Even domestic animals can be unpredictable, and these cattle, although small, are still over 600 lbs each! We clean the pasture daily, so there will be handlers out there during your stay. However, they will not enter your fenced, private back patio.
Other areas:
The goat, sheep and donkey pasture for petting a feeding small animals. Guests are welcome to enter this pasture only and pet and feed the goats and miniature donkeys. Children MUST BE accompanied by an adult at all times. The goats love to JUMP, and will jump up on your back or shoulders given an opportunity. The Pig and Alpaca pasture are off limits to enter, but please feed and pet them over and through the fence.
All the animals love treats. You will be provided with some treats on check in. Extra treats are available for purchase in the Guest Laundry and vending room. PLEASE only feed provided treats. Many foods and plants are poisonous to livestock, and can cause severe illness or death.
Donkey's CAN bite, and are on a strict diet. Please do not feed the donkeys.
All interaction with animals is an agrotourism activity, and The Grand Ranch or Hosts are not liable for any injury according to Utah law (Utah Code 783-4--512).
The garden and orchard area, and the fields around the guest homes are open for your enjoyment. Please feel free to photograph and feed any of the animals over their pasture fences.
There is a trampoline in the grassy area that guests are welcome to use at your own risk.
There are private areas on the ranch we ask you do not enter. Including the fenced pasture to the West of the Guest homes, and the areas North of the Trampoline area, including the Big Brown Barn. These are private to our family, please kindly respect our space during your stay. The only cows back there are the bulls. They are off limits to guests since they are very temperamental and potentially dangerous.

Our family has spent the last 4 years building this mini-animal ranch from the ground up. We bought this 40 acre old sheep pasture with nothing taller on it than a grasshopper!
Everything, starting with fence posts, was built by us! Including the Guest Homes, Shelters, garden, orchard...
