The space
Welcome to Redhead Cottage.
Step onto the front porch— a relaxing place to sip coffee in a rocking chair or unwind in the evening light. Get comfortable, and hang your coat and slip off your shoes in the mudroom before opening the original century-old front door into the cozy living room.
Here you’ll find comfortable seating, a plush leather couch (which hides a plush queen bed), a smart TV, fast WiFi, and warm morning light filtering through 115+ year-old original-glass windows. It's a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise come to life.
Just beyond the living room is the dining room, centered around a solid wood round table that seats six. It’s perfect for slow breakfasts, game nights, or sharing stories after a day on the trails.
Through the dining room, the fully stocked kitchen is ready for anything from quick snacks to full meals, with modern appliances, new plumbing, and both a drip coffee maker and Keurig, plus some coffee already stocked for you to enjoy.
Both bedrooms sit off the main hallway. Each features a comfortable queen bed with plush pillows and cozy linens. Bedroom one includes a dedicated desk and workspace, ideal when you need to check in at work during your stay. Bedroom two offers a simple, peaceful layout designed for deep rest.
The bathroom is close by and includes a new vanity, a quirky step-up “throne-style” toilet — a hallmark of historic homes — and an antique clawfoot tub with a few perfectly imperfect character marks that reflect its age.
Outside, you’ll find easy parking for one to two cars on the left side of the home and a brand-new wide porch welcoming you inside.

Because Redhead Cottage is over 115 years old, she has a few quirks.
"Perfectly Imperfect." You’ll spot a few slants and slopes in the floors — a reminder that this house has been here long before the Redhead trails were ever carved. We embraced its character, and we hope its quirks make you smile.
Steps. Everything you need is on 1 level.
However, you do need to walk up 3 steps to get to the toilet.
And there are 3 steps on the front porch to get inside the house.

Cleaning.
No need to stress about chores on your last day — you’re here to relax. As long as you treat the space with care, we’ll take care of the cleaning. Because we want you out adventuring or curled up relaxing, not doing chores.
Just be respectful, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Dogs are welcome for a small fee. When booking, please include your furry friends in the "Guests" section. Thank you for your honesty. We love our dog, and want to you travel with yours too. Your cooperation allows us to continue to welcome them.
