✨ Allergy-Free Space - No animals of any kind are permitted
On March 30, 1946, Sam and Juanita Pusateri made this homestead cabin their own. Sam, a devoted botanist, scientist, and conservationist, worked as a Park Ranger for Sequoia National Park.
This land served as their hidden paradise, where they dedicated their lives to a harmonious existence, living off the land and cultivating dreams.
This was their original residence on the property before building two additional cabins and planting a botanical wonderland that would eventually surround them.
The cabin presents itself as an inviting 580 sq ft open studio, adorned with expansive picture windows, a fully equipped kitchen, a luxurious King-sized bed, and a comfortable bathroom complete with a soaking tub, indoor shower, and an outdoor shower, providing an immersive experience.
We are on ancient land here. For thousands of years, the Native Yokuts and early migrants settled due to the abundant valley and mountain resources and the close proximity to the Kaweah River.
This experience is for those who seek something truly unique and crave a deep connection with nature while appreciating a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.
This cabin was reimagined around the healing and simple pleasures of Wabi-sabi, described as 'one of appreciating beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete in nature.' We hope Sam and Juanita would be proud of what the cabin has become, and we strive to honor history and maintain its vintage and authentic charm.
Guest access
The property is situated on 6 wild acres. The driveway leads you directly to the entrance of your cedar-shingled cabin.
There are a total of 3 thoughtfully curated cabins on the property- all located within a tranquil, park-like sanctuary, cradled by the surrounding foothills.
Your cabin is private, with its own entrance, yard, and meditation areas.
Ideal for a cozy retreat, the cabin is the perfect place to enjoy while visiting Sequoia National Park and comfortably accommodates 2 guests.
This land is unlike any other in Three Rivers. We enjoy a microclimate due to being tucked away under the foothills and shaded by a canopy of lush plant life.
