Comfy bed for better sleep
The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Enjoy this private property that is great for family reunions, smaller retreats and tiny weddings (30 or less, preferably less, with only 20 overnight guests).
The space
How many does your property sleep?
It all depends on the size of the people and how cozy you are with one another.
We've had groups of 6-25.
The main cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed plus a sofa bed in the living room and a queen air bed as well. Enough room for 6 people, but cozy.
Each of the two little cabins has a queen bed and a double futon. I say it can sleep two adults and two small children, as the futon isn’t quite 6 feet long. Neither of these little cabins has water—just power and heat. So they are, essentially, like an extra bedroom, with a longer walk to the bathroom.
We also have a queen size bed in the shop.
Total beds: 4 queen size beds, 2 double futons, 1 sofa bed, 1 queen air bed.
Total spaces: 3 “bedrooms”, 2 open spaces with beds.
We have settled on 14 as a max number, for beds, which may be pushing it. BUT…we can accommodate tents and trailers too, for an extra charge, so that bumps up your numbers.
We had a request for a summer weekend with 8 men (golfing party) and they decided the bed situation wouldn’t work for them. But, as you can see, it works for a lot of other groupings and numbers.
Guest access
Access on the property will be dependent on your rental agreement. Please let us know how you plan to use the property and we will customize your stay for you.
During the winter months you will want to ensure that you have an extension cord for plugging in your vehicle as well as good winter tires - our driveway is level but snow can come at any time and there is no guarantee it will be plowed upon your arrival or departure.
Other things to note
Please note there is no wifi as our guests enjoy this setting as a place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with each other.
Early check in is not available during our busy times (Jan-Feb/Jun-Sep)
Wildlife is abundant, from wild horses to wolves and bears and a large variety of birds. Bear spray is recommended.

Located in Central Alberta between Rocky Mountain House and Sundre.
This property is surrounded by glorious crown land and there is so much to explore. The region's slogan is: "Challenge Your Inner Explorer" and we can't come up with a better one. Our cabin/property is a nice retreat, but you do need to be fairly self-sufficient in terms of entertainment and food.
