Nestled in the rolling hills of the idyllic Santa Ynez Valley, in the mountains above Santa Barbara, California, Rancho Clancy is the ultimate getaway destination.

Situated on 10 private acres, this working farm is home to goats, donkeys, egg-laying chickens, a few ducks and some beehives full of honey, alongside a large edible garden, olive and fruit trees, a custom outdoor grill, a bocce court, a cedar soaking tub, fire pit, and tree swings and a treehouse for little adventurers.

The space
The newly renovated farmhouse in the heart of Santa Barbara wine country sleeps 12 and was custom designed for maximum comfort and entertainment, with 5,000 square feet of indoor space including 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a chef’s kitchen featuring top of the line Thermador and GE Monogram appliances, a walk-in pantry, a “hidden” office, a stair slide and a record room.

There are 3 bedrooms with King size beds and 1 upstairs bunk room with 2 Full beds and 4 Twin beds (including 2 trundles). All rooms feature brand new mattresses, allergen-free pillows and designer bedding, as well as black-out curtains for optimal sleep.

We also have 2 additional twin blow-up mattresses if additional sleeping set-ups are needed, and we can provide a pack & play for babies and toddlers as well.

All three of the full bathrooms downstairs feature fully accessible “curbless” showers and optional handheld shower heads. The primary bathroom also features a beautiful oversized freestanding bathtub, and the bunk room bathroom upstairs has a built-in bathtub with optional handheld shower head as well.

Each bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your use, as well as hairdryers and some basic toiletries in case you forget something.

The large open-concept playroom features skeeball, pop-a-shot, pinball, ping-pong, arcade games, a fully stocked art room with craft supplies for all ages, and a home movie theater, as well as ample open space for playing games, doing group yoga classes or anything else you can imagine.

Harvest vegetables from the garden, grab eggs from the chicken coop and grill out - it's an entertainer's dream. And at night, fix a cocktail, lounge in the hot tub and stare up at thousands of stars.

Rancho Clancy feels far away from city life, but is a 5-minute drive to Los Olivos, Ballard and downtown Santa Ynez, 10 minutes to Solvang and Buellton, and 15 minutes to nearby Los Alamos, each town with its own unique personality, wine tasting rooms, family activities and top-rated restaurants. Not to mention over 200 wineries within driving distance.

Guest access
The 10 acre property is yours to explore. The only exception is our ranchhand's house attached to the barn. He's there to help out, as needed, but we ask that you respect his and his family's privacy.

Other things to note
Accessibility: All three of the full bathrooms downstairs feature fully accessible “curbless” and doorless showers and optional handheld shower heads.

In addition to the accessibly-designed bathrooms, the entire downstairs of the home is also fully accessible with no stairs or changes in elevation. There is only one bedroom and bathroom that is upstairs.
