The space
Furnished with full-sized stainless-steel appliances, prepare a meal of fresh catch and farmers market findings in the well-appointed kitchen. The open-concept of the kitchen, dining and living room make it so you can move and visit freely whilst working, meal prepping, or even doing laundry.

Prefer to spend your time out in the fresh air? This suite opens up onto a, generous private patio that is decked out with a Weber BBQ and a variety of seating options. Surrounded by tall cedar flora this space is not only exclusive, but also well protected from the ocean breeze – often feeling a few degrees warmer.

The spa-like bathroom is a treat in itself with heated floors, a rain shower and soaker tub, and comes well stocked with toiletries and linens.

Finally, after a long day of exploring (or work), stretch out and take up all the space in the cozy king-sized bed you’ll find dressed in a fluffy duvet and quality bedding.

Guests should note, common to the area, cell service can be spotty at times depending on your provider. This suite comes equipped with a well-lit work space, landline, and a solid high speed internet connection.

I fell in love with Qualicum beach after vacationing here in 2005. The old growth forest surrounding the spectacular beaches on the Strait of Georgia enchant me to this day. I love how the tide water feels like a warm bath as it rolls in over the sun-baked sand on a warm summer day, and how a walk amongst the ancient trees can lift my spirits from even the greyest of moods. I found a lot of my lasting travel memories stemmed from the perfect trifecta of: gracious host, neighbourhood-like location, and accommodation with a homey feel. The cultural exchange and chance to “live like the locals” feels like a win-win for all involved. I’m now grateful for the opportunity to share my home and community with you and hope that you too will feel the magic of Qualicum Beach and form lasting memories during your stay!
