Both the upper and lower floor living spaces have a cooling air heat pump. New! The opening is always open!

The cottage is fully equipped for an easy and comfortable vacation. From the basement you can find a cozy sauna, which is only a few meters from the beautiful lake Suvasvesi. Both living floors have air conditioning and heating.

We have renovated a 1950s board-built cottage into a very atmospheric and functional holiday home just for your holiday. The hotel-like atmosphere of the holiday home provides space for relaxation and guarantees comfort.
The cottage has an upstairs with spacious sleeping areas. Upstairs there is a double bed, two sleeping lofts and a small children's bed. In addition, a corner sofa for relaxation and entertainment.
Downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen for an easy vacation. Kitchen equipment includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, stove, electric mixer, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The kitchen also has a wood stove if you want to brew your morning coffee the old-fashioned way.
In addition, downstairs there is a living room with an open fireplace for atmosphere. The living room has a double bed.
The basement floor has bathroom facilities and a toilet. The bathroom has a wood-fired, atmospheric sauna with partial views of the lake. The bathroom door leads almost directly to the lake. The bathroom has a drying washing machine.
In front of the bathroom there is a nice and spacious cooling terrace.
In addition, the cottage has a large glazed terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee even in bad weather.
The yard has room to frolic and is surrounded by forests where you can hike, pick berries and mushrooms. We have reserved a croquet game, a barn and a dartboard for your entertainment. Behind the cottage is a lovely salt pond, on the shore of which you can go to calm down and gather strength from nature.
In front of the cottage there are large terraces for dining and lounging.
The water is very clean Suvasvesi. You can get to the lake by rowboat, for example. The surrounding waters invite you to hike on the magnificent rocky shores. In Finland, you can enjoy nature with the right of every man, as long as you do not disturb privacy or make a fire.
There is a swing and a sandbox for children to play in the yard.
In winter, you can explore the surrounding nature and enjoy winter fishing, for example.
There is a road network around for tens of kilometers of mountain biking or jogging.

We have renovated a cottage built in the 1950s to a very cozy and functional place for you to enjoy your vacation in the beautiful Eastern Finland. The cottage provides a hotel-like atmosphere enabling you to relax and enjoy your time.
Upstairs of the cottage provide spacious sleeping area with one double bed, two single beds and small children's bed. There is also a comfy corner sofa for hanging out.

In the basement, you can find a bathroom, sauna, and a toilet. The sauna is heated with wood, and you can partly see the lake from there. There are only a few meters to the lake from the bathroom door. You can go swimming from three different spots: the beach (in front of the sauna), the rock, or the dock. There is a patio outside the bathroom door for cooling down and enjoying the view. You can also find a drying washing machine in the bathroom.
The cottage has a large glazed terrace to keep you warm and dry even in the worst weather. And in front of the cottage there is a large patio for enjoying food or to sit back.
There is a lot of room for playing outside the cottage, with forests to wander around as well as to pick berries and mushrooms. The cottage is equipped with a few games: croquet, Mölkky and dart board. For kids, there are swings and a sandbox.
The lake Suvasvesi has very clean water and is filled with beautiful islands. You can row to the different islands for a day trip to enjoy nature. You can freely roam around but remember not to interfere with others privacy or make fire.
In the winter you can walk, skate or ski on the ice or even go ice fishing.
There are also lots of possibilities for biking and jogging.

Other things to note
The property has a lot of steep stairs, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or those with poor footing. The lake is close by, so you should be careful with children who can't swim. The water from the taps is lake water. We do not recommend drinking tap water. Tap water is free to use for cooking.
