Welcome to this inviting studio, exuding a cozy rustic charm. Natural light floods the space, while French doors beckon you to the two private patios.

Perfect as a base for day trips to Seattle, Olympic Peninsula & National Parks. Relax at Point No Point beach, 5 minutes away. Miles of nearby hiking trails. Shopping and dining are 15 minutes away in Kingston.

Minimum booking is 30 days. Rural area - having a car is a must. Getting here: ferry across Puget Sound, or drive via Tacoma. NO pets.

The space
NOTE: this studio is the same size as an average chain hotel room. If you are not comfortable in a cozy space or are looking for big and spacious accommodations, look elsewhere, please.

Natural light floods the space through abundant windows, adorned with cellular shades for privacy, while French doors beckon you to the serene courtyard garden.

Kitchen:
Discover culinary convenience in the well-equipped galley kitchen. Complete with a full-size fridge, built-in microwave, and a versatile Breville smart oven, this space is designed for effortless meal preparation. Cook up a storm with the included countertop induction burner and a selection of pots and pans. Enjoy dining or working at the eat-in bar, or use the portable tables in the living area. For al fresco dining, head to the deck patio area with table seating and a propane-fired BBQ grill, ensuring a delightful outdoor experience.

Bath:
The half bath is complete with separate thermostat-controlled heat and a whisper-quiet vent fan for ultimate comfort. Adorned with oversized porcelain tiles and featuring a vanity sink with a soothing waterfall faucet, this space exudes modern chic. Refresh yourself in the glass-enclosed shower stall. Store your personal bath items in the two built-in mirrored wall cabinets, and bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and makeup removal cloths are thoughtfully provided. With its dedicated water heater, the studio guarantees a continuous supply for kitchen, laundry, and bath needs.

Sleeping:
Rest easy in our thoughtfully arranged sleeping space. Sink into the plush comfort of a queen bed featuring a luxurious 10" memory foam mattress, perfect for accommodating two guests. Additionally, a twin pullout bed nestled within the loveseat offers sleeping arrangements for a third guest, ideal for a child or an additional adult seeking cozy repose. Enjoy the softness of all-cotton bed linens, complemented by a down-alternative comforter and blankets for a restful night's sleep.

Laundry:
Convenience is key with a full-size electric washer and dryer boasting steam clean features, ensuring laundry can be done at your leisure. You'll find complimentary laundry pods included for your convenience.

Storage:
Enjoy ample storage solutions in the studio. A spacious wardrobe caters to clothing and personal items, while a pantry closet provides additional space and houses essentials like a steam iron, ironing board, cleaning supplies, broom/dustpan, stick vacuum cleaner, and a supplemental radiator-type space heater, as well as a portable air conditioner (rarely needed here!)

Entertainment:
Relax and unwind in the living area, designed for comfort and leisure. Lounge on the loveseat or lounge chair, and access your favorite streaming media accounts on the 32" Roku TV in secure Guest Mode. For offline entertainment, peruse our fiction library nestled within the built-in bookcase.

Patios:
Step outside through French doors into the garden courtyard deck area, offering a tranquil retreat with seating and side tables. During spring, summer, and fall, enjoy the delightful scent of honeysuckle while observing the frequent visits of hummingbirds.

Parking:
Convenient guest parking is available for up to two vehicles in the shared driveway. Rest assured with our smart lock system, accessible via numeric code or downloadable smartphone app, ensuring security and ease of access throughout your stay.

Guest access
The studio stands as a distinct and secluded wing of my residence, with direct access from the designated guest parking area. Offering unparalleled privacy, it features a buffered space between itself and the main house, minimizing sound transfer to ensure a tranquil environment. Guests can enjoy a sense of seclusion akin to staying in a separate structure altogether.

Other things to note
- Maximum occupancy: two adults and one child over 2 years old.

- This property is located in a rural area. This is what makes the location a spectacularly beautiful place to spend your vacation or WFH stay. It also means that you may see or hear local wildlife! Including seals, sea lions, Orcas, bunny rabbits, owls, bald eagles, raccoons, deer, coyotes, or the occasional bear (extremely rare and generally seen only in forested areas). Wild animals are more scared of you than you are of them! Please take this into consideration insofar of your expectations when booking your stay.

- While an uncommon occurrence, Guests should be aware of the potential of smoke in the air due to seasonal wildfire activity, usually from Canada or California & Oregon. Please book accordingly! Updated air quality maps can be found by searching online.
