The Chuparosa Inn in the heart of Madera Canyon offers a wonderful environment for couples with a romantic heart, nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys relaxing in nature. Our luxurious suites have private entrance, private baths, and kitchenettes and provide a lovely retreat from the outside world. A private patio adds to your enjoyment of the surrounding forest. The lush riparian environment at 5000 feet provides the perfect habitat for over 200 species of birds.

The space
Our repeat guests tell us that a stay at the Chuparosa is like having your own cabin in the woods. The exterior entrance and patio make it easy for our guests to come and go as they please or just relax in nature. The common patios and secret garden are perfect places to soak up all that Madera Canyon has to offer whether you are reading a book, meditating, birding or just watching the world go by. Because your suite has a “mini-kitchenette” you can always prepare a favorite meal in your microwave or on the gas BBQ. Having a special dinner under our outdoor candelabra on the creekside patio is a guest favorite.

The Chuparosa is 14.2 miles east of Interstate 19. As you exit the the freeway there will be signage directing you to Madera Canyon. The Chuparosa is easy to find because it is the last cabin on the right about 100 yards before the end of the road.
