Our gîte is an oasis of peace and nature, exclusively furnished for adults.

Parents with quiet children aged 12 or older are of course also very welcome!
The Gîte is located on a completely enclosed property with its own parking space and is just a 15-minute walk from the charming village of Prayssas via an idyllic, shady forest path.
Several hiking and biking routes pass along our domain.
The space
From the terrace of the gîte, which is located on the hill, you have a beautiful view over the vast fields around it.

EXCLUSIVE HEATED SALTWATER POOL: Enjoy our lovely, heated saltwater pool.
Salt water is gentler on the skin and eyes and offers a natural swimming experience.
The pool is shared with the owners, but we offer you a rare luxury: between 2:00 and 6 pm, the pool is fully and exclusively reserved for you.
CONNECTED EVERYWHERE (High-Speed Wi-Fi):
We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the entire property.
Whether you are relaxing in the salon, preparing a meal in the outdoor kitchen or lying by the edge of the saltwater pool, you will enjoy a perfect connection everywhere.
NATURAL COOLNESS & COMFORT:
Thanks to the excellent insulation, the house stays wonderfully cool, even in midsummer.
For extra comfort, the kitchen is equipped with air conditioning, and fans are available in the other rooms.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, induction cooktop with 4 cooking zones, air fryer, microwave oven, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, large fridge with freezer compartment and all kinds of kitchen utensils (knives, forks, plates, glasses, pots & pans, etc.)
In addition, you have a simple outdoor kitchen with a BBQ for sunny evenings.

Cleaning:
The final cleaning fee of €60 is automatically deducted when you book.
No deposit:
We do not ask for a cash deposit upon arrival; we rely on the coverage of Airbnb AirCover.

Prayssas:
In the village, you will find:

- A store (similar to a Spar with a postal service)
- Restaurant Saint-Anne 2.0 >> Daily specials from €16 (also for takeout!)
- "L'Instant" delicatessen: Tasty prepared dishes, a delicatessen, a wine and beer cellar, fine products to take away or to enjoy on the spot in the summer on the terrace in the village square.
- The Bar L'Estanquet, ideally located in the center of the village on the shady square, is cozy, modern and lively (concert, karaoke...) and offers local and artisanal products (beers, lemonade, Gascon cola).
- A crêperie “LA BASTIDE ST LOUIS”, with internet access
- There is a medical center & a pharmacy
- The "Credit Agricole" bank
- A gas station
- A Renault garage & an all-makes garage, "Bouchou".
- A charging station for electric cars can be found at "Parking 2" behind "La Halle au Chasselas" with the Tourist Info Center & Auditorium de Prayssas.
Parking 2 also has shaded parking spaces under solar panels.
In this parking lot are also the containers for household waste, which are made available free of charge to the population as well as to tourists.

"Domaine de Quissat", a producer of organic wines from southwestern France, is 9 km from us.
Prayssas is described as a "village with character."
Every Sunday morning, a farmers' market is held in Prayssas where you can buy delicious tender meat from the mobile butcher.
There are also stalls with seasonal fruits, vegetables & cheese, honey and so much more.
Truffle markets are organized in the fall and winter.
On the occasion of these truffle markets, the municipality of Prayssas regularly offers free tastings, which many residents enjoy as tourists.
From the beginning of July to the end of August, evening markets are held in Prayssas and the surrounding villages with a large variety of local dishes.
You will always be surprised by the uplifting music of various bands or DJs.

Monday: Saint Sardos (this picturesque hamlet is where the Hundred Years' War began)

Wednesday: Prayssas - very friendly atmosphere, wonderful food and music

The surrounding countryside is great for cyclists of different fitness levels. Although there are no mountain passes, there are some challenging climbs.

The beautiful city of Agen is 18 km away.
Here you will find a large variety of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a train station.
There are regular trains to destinations such as Bordeaux, Paris and Toulouse.
The main weekly market days are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Another large town (Villeneuve-sur-Lot) is 21 km away.
Prayssas is therefore ideally located, right in the middle between these 2 large shopping towns and also between the 2 largest rivers, the "Lot" and the "Garonne," for exploring the beautifully rolling region with its many panoramic views.
The old medieval town of Pujols, a "Plus Beaux Villages de France," is 20 km away. Located on a limestone cliff at an altitude of over 180 m overlooking the valleys of Lot and Mail.
The center is built around a market square, and the pedestrian streets are lined with half-timbered houses.
Within the walls, you can see the remains of the castle tower.
There is a weekly Sunday market, where a variety of fresh produce is sold.

- Swimming pool:
The 10m x 4m swimming pool is a heated saltwater pool (Bayrol automatic Salt AS7).
It is a lap pool (no splash pool).
Between 14:00 and 18:00 our guests have exclusive access to the pool, outside these hours the pool can also be used by the owners.
Other things to note
* Please note that our gîte is unfortunately not suitable for infants and young children.
We don't have any specific baby supplies or safety features.
What do I take with me to the holiday logies?
Your beds are freshly made upon arrival, so you can enjoy your vacation right away!
For your comfort and optimal hygiene, we use Toutlecojetable high-quality disposable bedding.
* An extra set of bed linens can be purchased on site for €15 per set.
(1 set consists of: 2 pillowcases, a fitted sheet and a top sheet).
If you prefer traditional bedding, we kindly ask you to bring it yourself.
