Civitella In Val di Chiana, Toscana, Italy

Neighborhood highlights

The estate is situated in an agricultural setting, on a hillside, but just 15 minutes from restaurants and shops. This provides greater privacy without sacrificing the comfort of the city.

It’s a 30-minute drive from the historic center of Arezzo, the city of gold and fashion, home to artists and poets such as Francesco Petrarca, Giorgio Vasari, Guido d’Arezzo, Guittone d’Arezzo, Cenne della Chitarra, and near Michelangelo Buonarroti.

Arezzo is known for the Saracen Joust, a horse tournament held twice a year (June and September). Although it has medieval origins, it has been held in modern times since 1931 and pits the four districts of the city against each other.

The Arezzo Antique Fair is the oldest in Italy. It takes place on the first Sunday of every month and Saturday, bringing life to the streets of the historic city center and Piazza Grande.

OroArezzo is the event dedicated to Italian goldsmithing, showcasing the finest products from all Italian gold districts, specializing in the processing of metals and precious elements that represent the best in gold craftsmanship. The event attracts guests, industry professionals, and top international buyers from 60 different countries.

The International Market in October is a major event featuring over 300 stands with street food, international foods and flavors, crafts, and traditions from around the world. It’s an event not to be missed, with shows, special initiatives, city tours, and shopping.

The Mestolo Fair in September features clothing, footwear, costume jewelry, leather goods, household items, demonstration articles, food specialties from all Italian regions, live animals, and traditionally wickerwork and wooden items.
