In the homely village of Rueras, the apartment is in the immediate vicinity of the ski resort, cross-country ski trail and toboggan run. The ski resort of Andermatt-Sedrun (valley station Sessellift Dieni) can be reached in 5 minutes by car, alternatively on foot (20 minutes) or by train (station in 5 minutes). The cross-country skiing trail is just below the apartment. Hikes are possible directly from the apartment and additional possibilities by train and/or car (e.g. "Badushütte", source of the Rhine, Medelshütte (20min drive to the starting point). In Rueras there are 2 restaurants but no shopping facilities during Sedrun in 20 minutes on foot or by car in 5 minutes; there are shopping, bakeries and various restaurants. Disentis can be reached in 20 minutes by car or train.
