2 bedroom cottage overlooking the Fortune River with a spectacular view of the Bay Fortune harbour and walking distance to a private beach . The cottage is close to the town of Souris, some of the best beaches on PEI, unique dining and artisan shopping and more! Grab one of our kayaks and paddle on the river, cook up some local seafood, collect sea glass and shells or go for a tour of Points East Coastal Drive. No matter what you do while you're here, this is a great location to vacation!

The space
A PLACE TO HARBOUR Bay Fortune cottage has been that for our family. A simple time far away from the bustle of everyday life. You can be as chill or as active as you wish in a run of a day. This waterfront cottage is situated directly on stunning Fortune Bay and short walking distance to the white sand Front and Back Beach. The cottage and location are both adult and family friendly. After a day of beach walks, kayaking, swimming, and sea glass hunting - chill on the veranda and watch the blue herons resting. Have a camp fire while watching the stars and harbour lights. We have three personal kayaks and life jackets on site with access to several more. A sunset paddle is often a beautiful way to end the day.

Located close to Souris, a quaint seaside village, Eastern PEI is renowned for its white beaches that stretch for miles, many world class golf courses, and deep sea fishing. North Lake is the Tuna Capital of the World and sportsman come to Eastern PEI to fish these giant tuna throughout the season. The Inn at Bay Fortune is just across the river if you want world class dining at Chef Michael Smith’s Inn or just barbeque on the deck as you watch spectacular sunsets or eat out at some of the little quaint restaurants in the town of Souris or surrounding area. A trip to the infamous Basin Head beach is a must with a jump in the “run”!
