The space
Enjoy the ultimate weekend escape at this stunning character cottage in Cessnock. Just two hours’ drive north of Sydney and an hour west of Newcastle, you will feel as though you are a world away with its gorgeous country aesthetic. It’s nestled just a quick 5-minute walk to the town centre and within easy reach of the region’s lauded wineries and fine dining experiences, as well as the Hunter Valley Gardens and Hunter Valley Zoo. The home is equipped with a Tesla charger which is a rarity in the area.

Beyond its picture-perfect facade, this property is bursting with charm. Walk through its ornate central hallway and immediately you will feel right at home. It features an open plan kitchen and living area, flowing to a sunny backyard. Let the kids run wild or sit down to an alfresco meal on the patio, cooking up a feast on the BBQ.

Inside, the gourmet kitchen caters to budding chefs with sleek appliances and a Nespresso coffee machine. A central island bench creates a central space to socialise, set up your laptop for work or come together for a shared meal. Relax on the plush leather sofa enjoying evenings at home with a spot of TV.

The cottage is replete with three beautiful bedrooms with ceiling fans. Two feature queen-sized bedrooms, while the third is fitted with a queen bed and single bunk beds, all topped with hotel quality linens for a good night’s sleep. Within the spacious main bathroom, guests can unwind in a luxurious freestanding bathtub or rinse off in a generous rainfall shower. The second bathroom can be accessed via the back deck featuring a spacious rainfall shower, toilet and mirrored vanity, along with internal laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer. The backyard has a firepit for guests to sit around ( firewood is not included )

The cottage has parking for three cars on the driveway, air conditioning in the living area, and Wi-Fi throughout.

PLEASE NOTE: Bedroom access is determined by guest numbers. This allows smaller groups to enjoy our homes without needing to pay for unused space. You will have the home to yourself and unneeded bedrooms will be locked or unneeded beds will not be made. Please let us know if you would like a specific bedroom available or a bed made up.

We are pet friendly please let us know about your furry friend at the time of your booking so we can assess if the space is suitable for them. There are gaps in the fence and it may not be suitable for small dogs. Please keep an eye on your pet when it's in the backyard.
