Created to share the uniqueness of East Texas with others, Piney Point is a perfect couple or friend's retreat. Tucked in the corner of a six-acre homestead, this restored A-frame offers a modern cozy stay with an expansive deck that overlooks the spring-fed pond. Nearby are some of the best adventures East Texas has to offer, from hiking trails and fishing at Tyler State park, live music, downtown breweries, to market shopping and great food. Escape to the quiet to rest and recharge.

Completely renovated, this unique A-frame cabin was designed to take in the surrounding nature while indulging in modern day amenities. With floor to ceiling windows that overlook the mature woods and sparkling water, spectacular views from different angles on the porch allow you to see the sunset like never before.
Kitchen:
- Stylishly cute and fully functional kitchen.
- Gas range and oven
- Cookware, utensils, dishware, and small appliances
- Keurig coffee station has everything you need to start your morning.
- Bar dining
Bathroom:
- Clawfoot soaking tub with a shower wand and rain shower head.
- Shampoo, Conditioner, and body soap provide (see details)
Living room:
- Overstuffed sleeper couch
- Smart TV where guests can access their own streaming accounts.
- Wood burning stove
- Breathtaking scenery from the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pond.
Loft:
- Ladder access
- Queen platform bed
- Custom log night stands equipped with charging station.
Outside:
- The sprawling deck offers a conversation lounge furniture
- Separate dining furniture
- Outdoor games
- Propane grill
- Fire pit with Adirondack chairs and pine log seating.
- Stocked pond (catch and release only)

- Private drive with parking for 2 vehicles.
- Access to the entire A-frame and surrounding areas. '
- Pond and dock use.
Other things to note
- Starter rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags provided
- Be mindful when walking outside and around the pond. Creatures and bugs
live in the woods.
- The loft is only accessible via a custom wooden ladder with built in handles
and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. It is not recommended
that you carry multiple items up to the loft on the ladder.
- Children must be supervised at all times on or around the ladder.
- We are in a very rural area. While typically not an issue, during bad weather
the electricity and internet can be unpredictable. We are usually the last to
be serviced. We will do everything we can to make your stay
accommodating.

As an East Texas native, I love and appreciate everything the area has to offer. I grew up in a near-by town with an A-frame on our family farm that served many purposes over the years. When searching for a new home, this land with an existing A-frame overlooking the pond, just felt like home.
I knew I wanted to share this space with others, letting them in on the secrets of the area. It's been a very long process of blood, sweat, demolition, design, dirt, paint, mistakes, fixes and actual tears. But all worth it to create a space for others to recharge and get back to nature.
