The space
Pike's Perch is a one of a kind stay - literally! The home is furnished almost entirely with modern, handcrafted furniture.
The Primary Suite is spacious, with large bedside tables, 2 dedicated work spaces, a large walk-in closet with washer/dryer, and a spa-like Primary bath. The large shower (4x6') includes both a standard and rainfall shower head. The double vanity offers plenty of space and quartzite counters, and the separate water closet is fondly referred to as "The Study" with it's handcrafted walnut door and library-like aesthetic. Lastly, the en suite offers recessed and diffused lighting to enhance the spa-like experience.
The Guest Quarters too feature a customized bedroom, laddered library, and fully renovated bathroom.
The Kitchen provides spacious, quartzite countertops, all new modern appliances, under cabinet lighting, and a handcrafted, chef's table dining experience in view of the LARGE living room windows that provide sight lines to the Platte River Valley and often white-capped Rocky Mountains.
This view is only enhanced from the spacious deck/outdoor living area. Large comfy outdoor seating and a propane fire pit* offer the perfect setting to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
The home has air conditioning (a rare luxury for Mountain living) and two heat source options.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the home and property except the garage and single supply closet.
Other things to note
*IMPORTANT the home has a brand new central heating and air conditioning system with whole home humidifier. The split pack AC/Heating units pictured are no longer used.
* Propane is not guaranteed for the outdoor fire pit but is easily purchased/refilled at one of the box stores listed nearby.
* 4WD/AWD is highly recommended during the winter months as Pike's Perch is known to become a winter wonderland during the season.
-- Roads are maintained and plowed via the State and community resources, but the constraints of Mountain-living should be considered when determining the best mode of transportation.
