Family-friendly vacation destination at the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Our home is Chalet nestled on an acre of land in a secluded wooded setting. Privacy abound! The home has large windows and lots of light bringing nature into all the rooms. Enjoy a large deck (half covered) with panoramic views into the wilderness from all directions. Great for either lounging & stargazing or watching the zenful rainstorms. Master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and private outdoor pergola seating area perfect for romantic dining. A large outdoor hot tub to soak in after a long day. Just what the doctor ordered!
We provide you a fully furnished, hi-tech house complete with 100mbs wired internet & FREE WI-FI, five 4K flat screen SMART TVs with ROKU in each room, Comcast digital preferred cable, digital door locks for safety, a fully equipped kitchen & pantry, and hair dryer. There are many fun activities for family members and friends of all ages in winter, spring, summer, or fall. We have a plethora of board & card games, video game systems, DVDs, books for all ages, and a full PIANO!!
The house boasts many great features such as wood burning fireplaces on both levels, a gas grill, and the den has a bar (liquor not provided!) We are a non-smoking property, however smoking & vaping are allowed only outside in designated areas. Rest in the hammock, gather around the firepit for S'mores, or relax in our luxurious hot tub after a long day. It is a large 6 person hot tub with recliner, digital multicolored LED lights, retractable privacy screen, shelf/drink rail, and convenient full-height stairs
The house has some amenities to accommodate distance learning students and working from home professionals! Between the space and the commercial grade WiFi we also give you access to a printer copier scanner. The WiFi can even reach the outside to the hammock. We have a wonderful dedicated workspace in the Master Suite complete with monitor, keyboard, PC, and phone system so you can just hook up your laptop, start a conference call, and get to work!
Traveling with children? We offer a Graco Pack N Play, a foldable travel high chair, and a baby bath. In need of more items but don't wish to pack them or bring them on a plane?? No worries! We love recommending BabyQuip who offers clean, sanitized, and safe baby gear in over 500 cities! We are not affiliated with them but have used these services many times when we travel out of state with our two kids and it was AMAZING!! After you book, if you are in need of this service just let us know and we will send you the link to make a reservation. Just put in our city and zip to find a vendor nearby.
For Sanitary reasons we do not supply linens but linen rental is available. The beds we offer are a King, a Queen, and 2 fulls, a sofa bed in the living room and the den. Each bed has a comforter and pillows with extras in the closet. Linen rentals are available for $80 and that covers the delivery and pick up of specialty woodland themed linens for you to use your entire stay. Linens includes sets of linens for all beds plus a set of 12 oversized towels and rags plus 2 hand towels.
We have a small yet functional laundry room complete with washer, dryer, ironing board should any of your belongings need to be laundered during your stay. We provide a free detergent pod and a dryer sheet for your use.
There are many fun activities around the mountains for family members and friends of all ages in winter, spring, summer, or fall. And we have individually controlled AC/Heat units in each of the rooms which is a rare feature in most of the homes up here so even the brief hot summers, and the winter temps in the negatives up here, are more bearable.
