Welcome to Penny Lane Ranch, a unique, 5 acre remote, peaceful desert oasis experience. The property is located 25 min. away from Palm Springs, 40 min. from Joshua Tree Nat'l Park and 25 min. from the Coachella Festival grounds! The Penny Lane Ranch was created as a place to unwind and relax in a calm, stylish and transformative space including a Heated Saltwater Pool and Hot Tub with 360 degree breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and star-filled skies at night. Now a 3 bed, 3 bath!
The space
Penny Lane features two independent dwellings, 5 acres with a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. The main house is a two bed, two bath Modern Prefab Manufactured home. A beautiful separate 3rd bedroom Casita dwelling with NOW A NEWLY ADDED BATHROOM ENSUITE welcomes you as well! The main house has a primary bedroom with a KING size bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a KING size bed and 2nd bathroom access in the hall. A stunning, on-trend, mid-century modern/Desert Boho Vibe, large open concept living room, dining room and kitchen allows guests to relax and unwind with large windows bringing natural light and views of the stunning property and surrounding mountains. A large raised outdoor deck with cool misting systems for the warm summer months, is the perfect place to relax outdoors and take in the stunning scenery, landscaping and sunsets. A BBQ grill on the deck and a picnic table out on the property allows for dining al fresco. You can also enjoy a gas fire pit down near the pool area for those nights of star-gazing. The poolside pergola with a cool misting system for the hot summer months, and 4 comfortable teak chaise lounges, allows for a relaxing retreat. The *Heated luxury Saltwater Pool and Hot Tub (*Heating fees apply), provide for a cool and comfortable escape from the heat in the summer months and a warm comfortable pool during the chilly winter months, with a shallow ledge at one end and a hot tub at the other. The pool is located a short walking distance from the main house. It was designed that way in order to take in the extraordinary 360 degree view of the mountains, skyline and landscaping, so be sure to put your flip-flops on before making your way down to the pool area.
*Please Note: Due to the high cost of propane in our area, we are forced to charge a fee of $30 each per night for pool and hot tub heating, $60 per night for both. Also, please be sure to browse and review the photos of our pool and ask any questions ahead of time, before booking. Our pool passes all code requirements for the County of Riverside, however, for aesthetic purposes, we intentionally designed the pool without hand railings or fencing. The pool may not be ideal for elderly persons with mobility issues, or for very young children, unless they are supervised at all times.

Independent guest access to the residence is provided by a digital lock box and your own individual custom code.
Other things to note
COVER-HEATED POOL: Our pool is NOW A "HEATED" saltwater pool
HOT TUB & POOL HEATING FEES : Due to the increasing high cost of Propane in the area, we are forced to charge an additional fee for heating of our Saltwater Pool and Hot Tub. We charge an additional $30 per night fee if you would like to utilize and heat the Hot Tub, OR a total of $60 per night if you would like BOTH the pool and the hot tub heated during your stay. Please let us know when you are booking our property. (Please note: If you opt for no heating of pool and/or hot tub at the time of your booking of your stay, and then later choose to heat the pool and hot tub during the course of your stay, we will require you to pay the daily rate for the remainder of your booking. We cannot do a partial heating schedule. Thank you for your understanding in the matter.)
POOLSIDE GAS FIRE PIT: We now have a propane gas powered Fire Pit Table down near the pool. Feel free to move the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, bring your favorite beverage down and relax by the flames. Please note: moving the Fire Pit to another location on the property is not allowed. Thank you for your consideration in the matter.
WE ARE ALSO AN EVENT VENUE: Our 5 acre property is built as a beautiful wedding and event venue with a Barn on the property for events, but rest assured, if you book the property for you and up to 5 more persons, you will have the entire property completely to yourselves. HOWEVER, IT’S IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE BARN SPACE IS "NOT" available for impromptu parties for our vacation rental guests. We only allow a MAXIMUM OF "6" PERSONS ON THE PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES for our regular AirBnB guests. To utilize the property as a party venue, you must book through us with a separate contract and separate fees. Contact us directly for information and rental fees. If it is found that our AirBnB guests are holding a party or gathering on the property without our consent, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and penalty fees will be assessed. By accepting this booking, guest is agreeing to these terms. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
*IMPORTANT PET / ANIMAL POLICY:
We do allow pets on our property in the form of Cats and Dogs, however, we will require a $50 a night non-refundable fee for up to 2 pets, along with a $250 refundable security deposit to be held by us to cover any damage to property. We require this mainly for potential wear and tear on our furnishings. Pets are NOT allowed on any furnishings inside the home including beds, sofa and chairs. Pets left alone in the home must be placed inside a carrier or pen. Be sure to review the "Additional Rules" section under the House Rules of our listing for complete details about our Pet Policy. By booking our property with pets, you agree to the policies and conditions.
**Please also note: This is the desert, you will most likely encounter a critter or insect or two during your stay. Flying insects are drawn to lights during night time so we suggest keeping doors and screens shut and lights off when not in use. Also, please take care when walking outside, we recommend shoes at all times, especially in warm weather months.
COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY RESTRICTIONS: Renters are not permitted to use the Penny Lane Ranch Property for professional photography or videography of any kind without expressed and written permission from the owner. Personal and amateur photography and videography for personal and non-commercial social media use is permitted. If the property owner discovers the property has been used for professional, commercial, advertising and public relations purposes, the renter will be requested to vacate the property immediately and could be litigated for impending usage fees. By accepting this rental agreement, the renter agrees to this policy. Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter.
*POOL WAIVER: By making your rental reservation through Airbnb all guests agree to the pool waiver outlined below:
Waiver of liability: You understand use of pool is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the pool and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that the pool may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person using the pool if a person has health risks, or if a person uses the pool while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or uses the pool if pregnant. You agree to explain the risks of using the pool to any guests you may have at the property and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents your guests may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and your guests for the consequences of those risks. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from your guests’ use of pool.
CHECKING OUT: We do NOT ask our guests to do any cleaning upon departure! We have a wonderful cleaning crew for that! You will not be asked to strip the beds or start any laundry. Nor will we ask you to do the dishes, but we always appreciate it when our guests rinse the dishes and leave them in the dishwasher. We also appreciate it if our guests moved any furniture, that they move it back to its original location. Otherwise, just turning off the lights, locking the doors and returning the keys to the lockbox is all we ask at the end of your stay.
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTIFICATION:
Our 5-acre property has a small variety of security recording devices that may, or may not, have audio recording capabilities. This is to ensure the safety of our property, our home and our guests at all times. Our security cameras are located at the front door in the driveway as a Ring Doorbell/Camera, and we also have a camera on the roof of our main house that provides an overall wide view of the entire property. These cameras provide a basic overview of the home, the barn and property entrances. There are absolutely no interior security recording devices of any kind, nor are there any devices angled towards any areas which would encroach upon our guests’ privacy. Our guests’ privacy and security is of the utmost importance to us, you can book with confidence.
