The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier!

There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children.

There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm.

There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.

The space
The Peerie Neuk tiny home is a cosy Shepherd's hut style holiday home. There's a comfy double bed and a sofa bed which is big enough for two kids or an adult. Two adults who don't mind being cosy. While the Peerie Neuk is quite spacious, it will feel small with more than two adults in it!

There's a shower and compost toilet (really eco-friendly and surprisingly easy to use). Towels and bedding supplied.

There's a small stove with oven and a little kitchen with all you need to serve up a gourmet meal on the dining table.

There's lots of storage and a place in the nearby workshop where you can store bikes if you need to. There is also a small desk area to do any work. WIFI connection.

Guest access
There is parking right next to the Peerie Neuk.

The bus to and from Lerwick will drop you off and pick you up from the bus stop at the bottom the road from the Peerie Neuk.

Other things to note
The Peerie Neuk is just one mile from the Unst Heritage Centre, Unst Boat Haven and Victoria's Vintage Tearooms.

The Balta Light pub, which does evening meals at the weekends, the Final Checkout Shop and Cafe and Shops - Skibhoul Stores and H. Henderson are in nearby Baltsound.

The Unst Leisure Centre and swimming pool is also in Baltasound as is the Unst Health Centre.

Please note you CANNOT charge an electric car at the Peerie Neuk. There is an EV charging point next to the Unst Leisure Centre in Baltasound.
