Escape to the Catskills — 3 acres of mountain views, total privacy, and a 6-person sauna waiting after every adventure. Ski Belleayre and Plattekill in winter. Hike, swim, and explore farmers markets in summer. Watch the foliage turn in fall. Year-round, unwind by the wood stove, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, or just sit on the deck and listen to nothing. 5 mins to Margaretville, 10 to Andes, under 20 to two ski resorts. 2.5 hours from NYC. Sleeps 8, with a workspace for remote work.

The space
Our home sits on 3 private acres in the Catskill Mountains — the kind of place where you wake up to mountain views and fall asleep to absolute silence.
Inside: 3 bedrooms (all queens, sleeps 8), 2 full bathrooms, a 6-person Finnish sauna, wood stove, large TV with Bose surround sound, dedicated workspace with fast WiFi, and two cozy reading nooks stocked with books.

Outside: A wraparound deck, stone fire pit, and 3 acres to roam. In summer, pick apples from our two trees. In winter, the hills on the property are perfect for sledding.

Getting here: We're 2.5–3 hours from NYC depending on traffic, 5 minutes from Margaretville, 10 from Andes, and under 20 minutes from both Belleayre and Plattekill ski resorts. Multiple hiking trailheads are within a 15-minute drive.

Seasons to visit:

Winter: Ski Belleayre and Plattekill, then warm up in the sauna and by the wood stove. Sledding right on the property.
Spring: Wildflowers, waterfalls, and the trails are empty. Perfect for a quiet reset.
Summer: Swimming holes, farmers markets in Margaretville and Andes, apple picking, and long evenings around the fire pit.
Fall: The Catskills put on one of the best foliage shows in the Northeast. Book early — this is peak season.

For families: We have a standard crib and a BabyBjörn travel crib, a cornhole set on the deck, and plenty of space for kids to run around safely on the property.

For remote workers: Dedicated workspace, reliable high-speed WiFi, and the kind of quiet you can't find in the city.

Climate control:

Window and portable ACs in all bedrooms, plus ceiling and tower fans for summer. There is no AC in the living room though, multiple fans are available. Wood stove and electric baseboard heat for winter

Guest access
Full access to the entire home, sauna, fire pit, deck, and all outdoor space. The detached garage is the only area not available to guests.

Coffee (K-cups + ground), a stovetop maker, Keurig, and drip machine
Starter firewood and kindling for the wood stove
Basic cooking staples (oil, spices, ketchup, mustard) and a Brita water filter

Important for winter guests:
The private gravel road (0.15 miles) leading to the property is unpaved and can be snowy/icy in winter. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is required November through April. The road is plowed regularly, but please plan accordingly.
