For a tiny cabin, it has a spacious layout with a kitchen bar table, storage cabinet, lounge chairs and coffee table. There are plenty of windows for great natural light that are perfect to take in the amazing views!

The outdoor area offers a picnic table and space to enjoy your morning coffee or meals outside. Enjoy Evenings by the propane fire pit while you gaze at the stars.

Take a stroll through a lush aspen grove with towering aspen trees, play in the creek or relax in a sunny meadow next to one of the ponds - this property has it all!

The site is very private yet accessible to many amenities and activities. It’s a 15 minute drive to Victor, or 25 minutes to Cripple Creek where many tourist attractions await. Mining tours, gold panning, gaming and gambling, restaurants, railroad tours and more! Drive, bike or hike just a few miles down the road to Skagway reservoir to enjoy excellent trout fishing. There is a hiking trailhead near the dam at Skagway that follows the river into Beaver Creek canyon with tons of beautiful granite formations- fish, hike or climb in this incredible area.

Guest access
The property has a gated entrance and is over 100 acres for you to explore and enjoy. However, please be aware that we do operate several other rental sites on the property. However, they are nicely spaced out from one another. Even when we’re fully booked, you’ll still enjoy the peace and quiet that you’re looking for.

Even if there are other guests, you are more than welcome to explore the entire property, we just ask that you be respectful of other people’s areas and keep noise to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the solitude up there.

Other things to note
This site is meant to be intentionally rustic and still feel like camping. It’s not true luxury glamping. We understand that these off-grid, self-service sites aren’t for everyone but we do our absolute best to set expectations for these sites before you arrive. If you’re expecting a luxury glamping experience, this site is not for you. If you want to stay on a unique private property, still feel like you’re camping and have no problem bringing your own gear, this is for you!

This property is off the grid, without water or electricity and there are no lights our outlets in the tiny cabin so you’ll need to bring your own lighting and power supply. Because of the remote location, we operate this as “self service”. This means no cleaning fees, however, guests are responsible for bringing their own bedding, drinking water and other camping supplies. Additionally, guests will need to clean the rental and remove their trash before checking out.

We do not supply TP or paper towels, so please bring your own.

The condition of the ponds and streams on the property can vary. Depending on the time of year and/or the amount of rainfall, the ponds and streams might be dried up at times and not always running or full.

The cottage cabin sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed and one person in a twin bed. Additional guests will either need to sleep on the floor or bring their own tents to sleep outside near the cabin.

Because we’re in bear country, we do not provide a grill or stove to cook with. You will need to bring your own camping grill and/or stove.

Wood burning camp fires are not allowed. Please only use propane fire pit provided. Guests must bring their own propane for fire pit. It uses a 20lb propane bottle (the same bottle that connects to home BBQ grills).

Cell service can be found on certain parts the property, depending on carrier, but plan on little or no service.

BUGS, CRITTERS & DUST:
Please understand that this is still camping in the woods and it is impossible to keep all critters/bugs or some dust from getting in. You might have some bugs and dust in your cabin, there is just no way to avoid this. The good news is the critters can get out as easily as they get in. When you arrive, if there are some bugs in there, please open up the door and allow the breeze to carry them out.

Please take precautions for bears and mountain lions.

Keep food in bear-proof containers or in your vehicle.

Absolutely no firearms or shooting is allowed.

Do not carve into the trees or damage them in any way.

Do not litter or leave cigarette butts.

Please pick up pet waste since it can build up and bother future guests.

Cows occasionally graze through the property, please do not approach or try to pet them.
