Seascape Cottage features amazing views with an ever changing vista over Whatamango Bay and beyond out into the best of Marlborough Sounds. There's much to see and watch - the ferries cruise past daily, and we're often spoiled with dolphins, seals and other wildlife who frequently visit the Bay.
Follow the 20m path through native bush to the foreshore below. We also offer kayaks for you to get out on the water to immerse yourself in the water scene.
Or simply enjoy a glass of Marlborough's finest wine on your 10m2 private balcony as you enjoy the peace and tranquility.
This is the ultimate place to relax and enjoy Godzone.
Your cottage itself features a king size bed, with luxury linens. The kitchenette is well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee, toaster, dinnerware and utensils. However, due to fire regulations, a stove, oven or hot plates are not permitted. If you're planning on preparing food, please plan accordingly.
Your bathroom is small but has all your need - shower, toilet and vanity, with beautiful fluffy towels. If you can tear yourself away from the view, there is a tv, plus dining table, and comfy chairs to enjoy that wine while absorbing the view.
Your cottage has its own separate entrance with an individual lockbox so you can check yourself in without ever having to interact with anyone. Each cottage is totally private with planting designed to strategically provide privacy to each cottage.
Guest access
Alongside your cottage, you have full access to our beautiful native gardens, which includes a private path to the Bay below. (20 metres below)
Other things to note
Picton township is just 9km away (about 15 minute drive), were there is a good range of cafes and restaurants to enjoy. There are some great local walks, including the Karaka Point lookout, which is just 1km from the property.
The last 4 kms of this trip are on a windy road (fully sealed, through native bush, and very scenic).
Our driveway is steep (but short).
