Panetapu House is located just 2 hours from Auckland Airport, and 45 minutes from both Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves. 1hr15 from Rotorua and 1hr20 from Taupo. Nearby is Sanctury Mountain-Maungatautari, Otorohanga Kiwi House, both just 25mins away.

The space
A newly renovated Three Bedroom Home in Rural Waikato with Two Queen Beds and two Bunk beds, Sleeps 6 in total. You’ll have the use of a well appointed Kitchen complete with Vibiemme Domobar Espresso + Mazzer mini. A library stocked with interesting books covering most aspects of NZ History, also spin some Vinyl on the Thorens TD-402 Turntable, Record Collection includes varied NZ Music from the 50’s through to today. You’ll also have the use of our beautiful Challen Piano, and iconic Martin Dreadnought Guitar.

The entire home, access to the surrounding plantation forest can be arranged on request.

Other things to note
Panetapu House has been sustainably developed, furnished and run, to give you the peace of mind that your stay is gentle on our environment. The house and most things inside it have been recycled, and reused from previous purpose. We ask that our guests recycle where possible during their stay and be mindful of what will happen to unrecylable waste, remember we’re all in this waka together.
