Owera Winds is a charmingly unique Bed & Breakfast situated on 80 acres in beautiful Central New York. This conveniently located retreat is within minutes of Cazenovia and Syracuse.  

Enjoy stunning panoramic views, gorgeous sunrise & sunsets, and locally sourced, cooked-to-order breakfasts. Explore three miles of groomed trails and stop to pick berries. Wander the beautiful wildflower meadows and gardens.

The space
All rooms at Owera Winds provide a queen bed, private bathroom featuring Beekman 1802 hair/body care products, guest robes, and plenty of peace and quiet!

Guest access
The Phinney room has its own bath (pvt but not attached). Come start your morning with a cup of tea or coffee at the kitchen counter and watch your breakfast be cooked to order from locally sourced ingredients. Sit on the porch and enjoy the spectacular view- both sunrise or sunset.
Pick out a tune on the piano or relax and watch the game in the living room. Challenge me to a game of ping pong or shoot a game of pool. There is always something to do at Owera Winds!

As a fourth generation Cazenovian, I can help plan your stay with must see points of interest or restaurants to try. You’ll be able to call, text or email for any information you need.

Other things to note
At Owera Winds one must love dogs. Abby and Woody are the resident greeters, trail walkers and snuggle bugs. There is always something going on in the gardens and kitchen. Feel free to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. Bring sturdy shoes to hike the groomed trails or snowshoes in the winter.

Neighborhood highlights

Drive up the 2/3 mile driveway to Owera Winds. The home is perched on one of the highest points in Cazenovia so the views are spectacular! We say this is where the wind blows and the coyotes howl. The home is 3 miles from town and a short drive to Syracuse. You feel as if you are in a remote location (no neighbors) yet close to all local amenities!
