This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Relax and unwind at 'Our Place'. A modern, clean and tidy 3 bedroom house, perfect for families or 2 smaller groups (maximum 6 adults OR 6 adults/kids plus 2 kids only on bunk bed), with a fully equipt kitchen, Nespresso machine, gas BBQ and heatpump. We are a short stroll (approximately 400m walk via the walkway) from the beach.
Bring a paddleboard or kayak and you can paddle down to the northern estuary/lagoon from the property.
The space
Located on a quiet street, our home has an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge that opens onto a sunny north-facing deck.
Bedrooms - There are three bedrooms. One with a Queen Bed. One with a Queen and Single bed (opens onto the deck) , and one bedroom with 1 King Single bed and 1 King Single bunk (suitable for under 12's only as weight restricted).
- From 1 Sept 26 bookings include linen. Please ensure you have the correct number of guests when you book, and advise of sleeping configurations. Please bring beach towels.
A Portacot is available. Please bring your own bedding for it.
Bathrooms/Laundry - There is one bathroom with a shower and sink, and a separate toilet and sink. The laundry is hidden at the end of the kitchen behind double doors.
Kitchen /Dining - kitchen is fully equipt including basic condiments and Nespresso Machine (BYO Nespresso Pods). Dining Table for six, highchair available.
Lounge - Relax and unwind after a day at the beach. For entertainment there are some books and board games in the cupboards, and a TV. WiFi (Fibre) is available.
Outside - There is an outdoor table, a gas BBQ and charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal), plenty of flat lawn space for the kids to play, and/or to park a boat.
It is only a short stroll (about 400 metres via Tavern Lane walkway) to the beach, or take a walk to the Northern end of the beach, from here it is a 15 minute walk to the beautiful secluded Waimama Bay. At the Southern end of the beach is a blowhole, accessible through bush/private land.
Guest access
You will have access to the whole house except for locked cupboards, the sheds and garage.
Other things to note
- This is a residential property, so we kindly ask guests to respect neighbours, and to keep noise to a reasonable level.
- Strictly NO parties/events, or smoking/vaping on the property.
- The property is fully fenced and backs onto the Ramarama stream, accessible via gate. Please supervise your children.
- No EV charging from standard wall outlets.
- Due to the proximity to native birds and wildlife, domestic pets, service or emotional support animals are not allowed at this property.
- No third-party bookings.
- The reservation must accurately reflect the number of guests staying. This should total a maximum of 6 adults . We can accomodate +2 kids on the bunk bed, please advise on booking request. Any additional guests must be approved through Airbnb before arrival.
- The primary guest must be at least 25 years old, must be registered on the reservation, and must be present at the property for the entire stay. The primary guest may not book on behalf of others or leave unregistered or unsupervised guests at the property.
