The space
We are pleased to offer a cozy well appointed cabin unlike any other. Modern amenities such as Air Conditioning, Hot water and a refrigerator are offered in our secluded cabin in the forest surrounded by a crystal clear river.
Guest access
All 20 acres and over 1000 feet of river access is yours to enjoy including our private waterfall.
Other things to note
Please be informed that all electricity supply to our escape comes from the solar panels on the roof. Air conditioning must be turned off at nighttime and when it is raining (the place would be very cold already). This way the electricity is preserved for the water pump, water heater and everything else.
Also washing of automobiles is strictly prohibited at our escape. Our guide Rohan can point you to a place by the river where it is allowed.
Thanks for practicing good management of our precious natural resources.

Where you’ll be
Portland, Portland Parish, Jamaica
We were hooked the first day we drove through the serene tranquility of spring hill. The 30 minute trip to buff bay will have you pass dozens of water falls and other water features. The numerous shops nearby stock the necessities and occasional treats. The people possess a deep appreciation of others which is extremely refreshing to us city folk ( we tend to take each other for granted). Port Antonio is a 1 hour drive due east and the hustle and bustle of the capital city Kingston is 2 hours drive due south through the breathtaking blue mountain wildlife refuge. Blue mountain coffee (the most sorted after coffee in the world) is always just a few meters away.

Hi. My name is Ketao And my wife’s name is Yhordanka. We met 20 years ago in Cuba (donde crecen las palmas). And we have been wondering through life ever since. We run a small business together to provide for us and our three boys. I tend to be fearless ( mistakes galore) she is more careful. We are passionate about social (not political) change as the only way to improve on the future. I enjoy implementing renewable energy systems and planting fruit trees in an effort to tackle air quality and other ecological problems.
