The Otways Nest is intentionally intimate - a place for reading by the window, long conversations, slow breakfasts and evenings that need no plans. If you are looking for a private, comfortable rainforest retreat where the details have already been taken care of, we look forward to welcoming you.

Guest access
The Otway Nest is a newly-built self-contained guest accommodation wing of the main house. It has its own private, secure entrance via a lovely courtyard, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and dining area. Guests (and pets) are encouraged to roam the gardens and use the outdoor seating areas, the BBQ, and the firepit.

Other things to note
We're thrilled to be pet-friendly at The Otway Nest, but we kindly ask that you chat with us about any furry friends you'd like to bring before you book – it's all about ensuring everyone's safety and comfort, especially with our neighboring sheep and alpacas in the nearby paddocks. Even if your booking notes mention pets, we may not be able to accommodate them without that prior discussion, so let's connect ahead of time to make it smooth sailing!

Just a friendly reminder: the entire property, both indoors and out, is completely non-smoking to keep the fresh rainforest air pristine for all our guests.

Accessing The Otway Nest is a breeze – park in our dedicated guest carpark, then stroll along a short, scenic path through the gardens with just a few steps. For those evening arrivals, the path is beautifully lit up for safe and easy navigation.
