Skorupki, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Poland
The Skorupki settlement is located in the colonial village of Skorupki (about 9 km from Mikołajek and 10 km from Ryn). It is located on the west shore of Lake Tałtowisko. The lake is located on the WJM Trail (Great Masurian Lakes).
The location of the Skorupki Settlement means that our guests have a full range of experiences to choose from. Starting with the charms of relaxing by the water and the opportunity to take interesting hikes, bike tours, and interesting car trips. The variety of experiences means that each of our guests find “something” for themselves.
The shells lie in the historic land of the Galindi, a Prussian tribe inhabiting these grounds before the arrival of the Teutonic Knights. The remains of galindas can be found in the landscape in the form of hills and chickens, as well as guard mills (places. Jeziorko, Orło).
Lovers of Teutonic times have the town of Ryn near the town with a magnificent Teutonic castle towering majestically above the town. This castle was one of the largest not only in Mazury, but in the whole monastic countryside. Ryn belongs to the “Slow City” movement, which is cities that promote “convenient life” for its residents and tourists. Other castles can be seen in Kętrzyn, Barciany, Reszla, Bezławki.
