orto_uralla is a shed conversion just for couples. Simple luxury…that soothes the soul.
King bed, bath with a view, kitchenette, stunning floor to ceiling windows capturing sun and views, indoor wood fire and outdoor fire pit and your very own Bocce court.
orto_uralla offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind.
Please note: The shed is not suitable for children or infants
The shed is close to our house but you will have complete privacy (except maybe from the chickens and kangaroos!)
The space
- Set on 5 acres of peaceful surrounds. Our farm shed conversion features beautiful old timber throughout
- A breakfast hamper with seasonal local goodies and homemade treats is provided
-Treat yourself to a luxurious slow soak in the reclaimed cast iron bath with glorious views watching the changing colours of the evening skies
- to help you completely relax and switch off, orto_uralla does not have a TV. We have curated a selection of books and boardgames (Backgammon anyone?), and for outside - Finska and Bocce
- The leather lounge in front of the floor to ceiling north facing glass windows is the perfect place to be when the sun is streaming in on those cold High Country winter days
-Glass sliding doors open to a deck, perfect for reading, meditating and chilling out at the firepit.
- Relax and unwind with books and games or wander into Uralla to experience our gorgeous little town
- Amenities in our kitchen include: an induction hotplate, microwave, fridge, kettle and a toaster - everything you need for conveniently reheating meals. We have a pod coffee machine and an electric milk frother for the hot chocolate months!
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property except for the main house yard.
Feel free to take a wander to the creek at the bottom of our property.
A game of Bocce on our specially made court is always a fun way to spend the afternoon.
Other things to note
orto_uralla is a micro flower-vegetable-fruit farm. Rest assured the shed has complete privacy from the house, please be aware that during certain seasons we may be working in the productive spaces. Please feel free to come and chat if you see us out and about
As the property is on Septic, all natural toiletries and cleaning products must be used. We have provided these for our guests convenience and would ask that guests refrain from using any of their own toiletries that are not natural.
Please bring your slippers as we ask guests to remove their shoes before entering the accommodation
The kitchenette is equipped for reheating food
