We are immersed in an impressive forest of native species from southern Chile and 1 minute from the incredible Conguillio National Park, which gives us a privileged proximity to the Llaima Volcano and diverse native flora and fauna. The cabin is 250 meters from the Captrén River on the same plot. There you will enjoy small waterfalls and pools of pure and crystal clear water. It is a place for nature and peace lovers who want to visit one of the most spectacular national parks.

The space
Origen Conguillio has the beautiful "Nativa" cabin, immersed in an impressive forest of native species from southern Chile, such as Coihues and Coligues among others. We are one minute away from the incredible Conguillio National Park, which gives us a privileged proximity to the Llaima Volcano and diverse native flora and fauna, among which the wonderful black woodpeckers and tricahue parrots stand out, both in danger of extinction, and which you could, if you are lucky, have the privilege of observing in the place.

Our land borders the Captrén River, which is 250 meters from the cabin. You can access it by crossing the native forest on an incredible journey, which reveals the imposing Llaima volcano among the treetops. Upon arrival you will find small waterfalls and pools of pure and crystalline water, coming from the very Captrén Lagoon located inside the Conguillio National Park. Next to them, and in the background to frame this paradisiacal landscape, is the Llaima Volcano.

In short, a special place for those who hope to disconnect from the city, nature lovers and those who enjoy the adventure of touring one of the most beautiful national parks in Chile.

Guest access
You will be given a keychain with the cabin key and the gate key, so that you have the freedom to enter and exit whenever you deem it convenient. You can also tour the place without any problems and get to the river, cool off, bathe and be there as many times as you want. We have some rustic arches with mesh, which you can use without problems!

**We have Starlink! It is a high-speed satellite internet, but you can only access it for the moment, approaching the outside of our cabin that is in the middle of the other 2 that we have published on Airbnb, but it will be free to use for anyone who needs it without additional charge.**

**We changed the main TV for a larger one, now it is 43 inches and we also left a pendrive with some pre-loaded movies of different types so that you have entertaining Movie nights! It also has active DIRECTV**

In winter, firewood is included. We usually give 1 bag of firewood for the whole day. We leave firewood in the cabin ready to be used, and if you arrive later than usual and it is cold, we always try to leave the combustion on before so that it is tempered.

We also include drinking water, we leave a 20-liter drum, and if it runs out you can ask us for another one. :)

Other things to note
The house's water works with a water pump, and we bring it directly from the river. We have automatic hot water. There is also a picnic table for 6 people, next to a volcanic rock grill for some delicious roasts!

**If you book in Winter, remember that we are at an altitude of approximately 800 meters, so the temperatures during the early morning can vary from 0 to -8 degrees approx. Therefore, on those days (not always) in the early morning, the water pump and water heater may not work until late afternoon, so we ask you to take that into consideration so that you can organize yourself on those days of extreme cold, since the pipes can freeze for a few hours.**

**Finally, understand that we are in the middle of the native forest surrounded by full nature and wildlife and in the middle of the rural area, 25kms away from the town, understand that it is a different, serene and austere experience. We always try to make guests comfortable, but understand that we may not have all the amenities that might be available in the city. Therefore, adventurers, nature lovers and those who are prepared for anything are the ideal guests for this place!!***

Where you’ll be

Curacautín, Araucanía, Chile

Origenes Conguillio is in the tourist town of Curacautín in the Araucanía Region, Chile, which has four Protected Wildlife Areas: Conguillio National Park, Tolhuaca National Park, Malalcahuello Reserve and Las Nalcas Reserve, in addition to having multiple natural and traditional tourist activities.
The commune, its parks, and reserves are all within the famous UNESCO-designated Geopark, known as Kütralcura "Firestone" in the Mapudungun language. The park is renowned for its valuable contribution to the global understanding of the Earth's formation, making it a tourist destination of high international interest, especially for its large number of volcanoes, several of which are active.
We are located at KM 25 on the road to Conguillio National Park. In practical terms, that is a one-minute drive to the Conaf booth by the Captrén Sector, which is the northern entrance to the Park by the Curacautín County, open during most of the year, except in times of heavy snow that make it impossible to travel through this Wildlife Protected Area.

Currently the road in the park is passable, it is not blocked by snow, so you can cross to Melipeuco.
