Neighborhood highlights
Prince Edward County is a gem. There are so many things to do here for all sorts of people. The wineries have received a lot of attention in the past and they are worth visiting. But even if you're not a big wine drinker..the experience of meeting the owners and understanding their dreams of starting a winery, their trials of experimenting with different grapes and over coming the harsh climate is fascinating in itself. (believe me, my european family members thought the chit chat with the winery owners was the highlight of their trip)
The county also has so much more to offer....great antiquing, a rich history, amazing cuisine, breathtaking nature, great shopping, visiting picturesque towns so quaint and pretty, and not to mention the obvious presence of amazing artistic talent.
There is truly something for everyone. The romantic getaway, the family retreat, the girls/boys weekend, no matter the occasion or the season, Prince Edward County will not disappoint.
