The space
Come experience the thrill of living with amazing contemporary art in the Rustic Oak Gallery which is one third of our beautiful designer loft/art gallery concept called Open House Contemporary. Located in one of the most desirable locations in the city, the River West neighborhood is full of great restaurants and nightlife and just minutes away from uber-hip neighborhoods such as Wicker Park, Logan Square, Ukrainian Village, the West Loop, and only a mile and a half from the lakefront and the Magnificent Mile!
Upon arrival youʼll ride the secure keyed elevator directly into your stunning living room. Designer furniture and custom built-ins furnish this 1600 sq. ft. three bedroom and two bathroom luxury loft. Walls of windows bathe this space in light and invoke a zen tranquility; step out onto one of three private balconies to enjoy your breakfast and witness enchanting sunrises and sunsets.
Thinking of hosting a dinner for friends, family or colleagues? Our brand new custom built dining table seats 16 comfortably. Made here in Chicago by Hastings Brothers Furniture this piece is not only beautiful but functional. Made of reclaimed oak boards from the beds of semi-trucks this table has probably seen as much of the country as all of our guests combined.
The master bedroom features an extremely comfortable queen size bed, private deck, beautiful sunset views. The master bath has his and her sinks and a huge steam shower to melt your travel weary troubles away. I provide plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup removing wipes and there is a CVS located across the street if you forgot anything!
The 2nd bedroom features 2 twin beds in an awesome custom built in, TV with streaming capabilities and a private deck. Lounge around and chill in this relaxing bedroom/den.
The cozy, chic, and cool 3rd bedroom features a double bed on custom pedestal frame and is located on the opposite side of the condo from the other two bedrooms for those wanting extra privacy! Separated from the living room with floor to ceiling translucent glass doors this may be the most architecturally exciting bedroom in the space.
The guest bathroom boasts a soaking tub and shower... Its great, soak your travel weary bones in the guest bath, steam in the master bath, shower in either... Whatever your preference you won't be disappointed.
Bringing a couple more friends... No problem. The brand new pull out couch in the living room sleeps two more people quite comfortably and with light opaque blinds for every single window there is no need to worry about the sun waking you too early.
Other things to note
In April of 2015 this space became a part of one of Chicago's most unique art endeavors, Open House Contemporary (OHC)! A new take on the concept of the modern art gallery, OHC gives viewers the chance to not only see fantastic art but to live with it.
By bringing together a diverse collection of contemporary artworks in residential settings, OHC places art front and center in our lives while at the same time recognizing that art can be just as compelling in a living room as in a gallery.
