The space
The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas as well as the bedrooms features air-conditioning to ensure your comfort throughout your stay.
At the heart of Ohana Cottage is the inviting plunge pool with a swim-up bar, perfect for enjoying your favorite drinks under the sun or beautiful night sky. The adjacent outdoor dining area offers the ideal setting for al fresco meals, from breakfast at dawn to dinner under the stars, all enhanced by the gentle sea breeze.
Inside, the villa boasts thoughtfully curated details for your comfort and convenience, including high-speed internet, private parking, and a backup generator to ensure an uninterrupted tropical paradise experience. Each bedroom is a sanctuary of calm, offering restful nights after days filled with adventure or relaxation. The modern bathrooms, like the rest of the villa, blend amenities with touches of island elegance, ensuring every aspect of your stay is nothing short of perfect.
The Gardeners come to maintain the grounds every other week around 7.30am for approx 2 hours! This is to ensure the gardens remain immaculate for our guests.
The pool is cleaned every Friday morning and takes around 15-20 minutes max! Guests are not required to do anything, Ryan our trusted pool guy just gets on with it.
We advise food items be kept sealed and kitchen surfaces clear of food remnant’s as sugar ants are common in the Tropics and can appear from time to time if surfaces are not kept clean. We have the property sprayed often for pests etc but we ask guests to kindly also please play their part.
Guest access
Access to entire house, plunge pool, private gardens and driveway with secure parking for 2 cars.
Access to the owners private gym can sometimes be made available upon request at the time of booking and at the guests own risk using the equipment and between the hours of 6.30am - 8pm daily except sundays.
An additional fee of $20 will be requested per 1.5 hour session to cover the cost of AC usage and cleaning.
If you require an early check in or late checkout, this can sometimes be possible but will incur a fee of $75. Please ask upon booking.
Other things to note
Ohana cottage is situated just a 10 minutes drive from the Airport, making arrival and departure a breeze. The world renowned Crane Beach and resort is a short 10 minute walk away, and there are a handful of lovely restaurants & bars nearby and 2 large supermarkets a very short drive away for convenience.
We highly recommend a hire car for ease of getting around and exploring all the wonderful things Barbados has to offer. Help sourcing a hire car is available upon request!
The 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds can be converted to make a king size bed upon guests request.

Please take note - In the Caribbean we do get sugar ants at times especially when sweet food items, crumbs etc are left on the counter tops. We try our best to keep them a minimal issue in the property and we ask you play a part in keeping food items sealed and surfaces free of things that will attract them. Flies can also be around more when garbage is left long periods of time indoors and also when we get a lot of rain. These things are a very minimal issues but we are obliged to make you aware of them so it does not come as an unexpected surprise to our guests.
