This custom built, one-of-a-kind guest house is full of unique design and character inside and out. Sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the horses and barn across the yard, or take a stroll through the adjoining flower garden or down the wooded walking trail in the trees with a view of the surrounding Kansas wheat fields. In a quiet, rural setting, you will forget that you are not far off the beaten path but still have easy access to the many amenities you may need.
The space
The main floor of this house has the master suite, which has a queen sized bed, walk-in closet, and bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs. One of the rooms has a queen bed. The other room has 2 twin trundle beds. The open mezzanine sitting area has twin roll out beds for additional sleeping space. There is also a full bathroom upstairs.
There is a large living room, with an upright Steinway piano, a dining room and a full kitchen on the main floor. The kitchen does not have an oven but does have a stove top with a griddle and a convection oven. There is a washer and dryer just off the kitchen available for use as well.
*please note that there is a fireplace, but it is NOT to be used.
Guest access
Keyless entry to the patio door for easy access. The entire house is available to use except for the garage, which is kept locked for personal use.
It is a large estate and the only areas for guest use are the guest house, the flower garden behind the house, and a walking trail. The location of the walking trail will be shown to the guest on a map when they arrive. The rest of the property is for personal use only.
Other things to note
The guest house is right across the drive from the main house where we live and so you will see activity around the property. We ask that you are respectful of us and our property and that you follow the rules and boundaries given. Please note there are absolutely no pets allowed.
