The space
This chalet is located in the historic center of Brienz, near the reformed church. The church bells sound short every 15 minutes. It's a monument.

Here it has space for 5 people plus 1 baby up to 3 years.

A private staircase from the street leads to the entrance door on the 1st floor.

The kitchen has a large dining table and is very well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Fridge with freezer, cooking stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, Nespresso coffee machine raclette, fondue, toaster, rice cooker, dishes also for children. For a pleasant start there are a few coffee capsules, as well as tea, sugar, oil and some spices.

Free, on request: 1 baby bed (travel), high chair, baby bath.

The wifi has 101Mbits/s and is good for working.

In every room it has 1 window with mosquito net. Since it cools down in the evening in the mountains, air conditioners are not common here. For the few hot days there are 3 portable fans available. In winter, you heat the apartment with the wood pellet stove. It's cozy to see the fire behind the glass! Bring thick socks. Slippers are available.

The Brienz West train stop is 5 minutes from the chalet. Every hour a train runs to Lucerne or Interlaken and connection to Lauterbrunnen (Mürren) or Grindelwald (Jungfrau).
Brienz train station is 15 minutes away, a nice walk through the village or along the lake promenade. There are two trains per hour. It has a taxi company in Brienz.

Hasliberg 25 minutes
Grindelwald 50 min.
