The space
NORTH ROAD LODGE: Approximately 2000 sq. ft of living space with the area's best long-range views. Three bedrooms plus a den, two baths. The house can accommodate up to six guests, and is best suited for couples and small families (pets and events not permitted). Amenities include a private sauna, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a gas hearth, an outdoor gas grill and fire pit. Appointed with fine Belgian flax linens, luxurious 802-gram Turkish bath towels, a fully-equipped kitchen, and complimentary EO organic bath products - this eco-luxe lodge promises a restful stay.

High-speed EC Fiber Optic Internet (250-400+mbps) and Free Wi-Fi are provided for reliable remote working; as well as a landline phone, printer and laptop-friendly workspace.

We are located ~15 minutes from Saskadena Six (formerly Suicide Six) and ~35 minutes from Killington's Skyship Lodge. Stowe, Okemo, Sugarbush and other VT ski resorts are a little over an hour away. Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and other winter activities abound.

For summer/fall activities, we are just 1-1/2 miles from Silver Lake State Park for swimming, paddling and wooded hiking and biking trails. Beautiful Woodstock Village is a scenic 15-minute drive south.

After 18 years in NYC with a refuge in Barnard VT, we now live in Northern CA - where we work, volunteer, travel, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. We also love to cook and entertain. We’ve owned our Barnard home since 2002. In July 2018, we opened our doors as a seasonal vacation rental. We love to host guests, like our friends through the years who’ve said that some of their favorite memories are at our house - with loved ones, nature, and not much else. Sometimes getting back to the basics is what we need to nourish the soul. We’d love for others to experience this feeling again and again.
