Come and enjoy a stay in a friendly Normandy village with the local bar/shop/post office just around the corner and the towns of Ducey and St James with supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities only 10 minutes away by car.

The accommodation is self-contained and provides a comfortable space for up to 6 guests (children over the age of 2 years old only) located within the ground floor of our home. There is space for parking your car and access to a large rear garden with a patio area.

The space
Come through the gates to a wide driveway and park in front of the house.

Up the stone steps and through the front door you enter straight into the open plan, kitchen, dining, living room, plenty of light fills this room and if you walk straight ahead you can open the patio doors to the back garden and patio area.

There are three doors off the main room, one leads down some steps to the toilet and bathroom and there are hooks to hang coats up. The other two doors lead off to the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is at the back of the apartment and is accessed through a dressing room which has a door leading out to the garden and Bedroom 3 is accessed via Bedroom 2 and both are at the front of the apartment overlooking the driveway and the front garden.

If the wood burner is needed we will supply a small amount of wood and more can be purchased for a nominal amount. The three bedrooms have radiators which will warm up the bedrooms in the mornings during the cooler months.

Guest access
The location is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding area by car. There are safe, sandy beaches within a 30 minute drive and Mont St Michel is also a 20 minute drive away. We have local supermarkets within a 10 minute drive, Super U in St James or Carrefour Market in Ducey. And for larger supermarkets and retail shopping St Martin des Champs is 15 minutes away near Avranches.

The gite is located in a pretty village with the church at the centre. There is a friendly bar/tabac that is open for fresh bread, pastries (and much more) every day apart from Monday and Sunday afternoon. From the gite you can enjoy a walk up a quiet lane, explore the wood and walk back round through the village. Also, there is a tennis court, basketball court and a small play park by the Village Hall.
