Enjoy relaxing by 1 of the 2 fireplaces or gather outdoors around the gas fire pit for s’mores & a fireside chat. S’mores fixings are included with your stay!
If you feel like taking a break from it all, relax on the hammock with a good book under the canopy of trees & mountain backdrop. Cook a nice meal on the grill or in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy picnics on the backyard tables or dine in the eat-in kitchen.
If you need to work during your visit...no problem! Will the kids need a way to stream shows...no problem! There is fast fiber internet here! Enjoy having TV’s in every bedroom & both living rooms.
The kitchen is open to the living room so all can take part in the fun even while making dinner! Kick back in the recliners and cozy up by the fireplace after a fun-filled day.
We provide a picnic blanket & camping chairs (found in walk-in closet) that are great to take to the lake, wineries or on hikes. Also, you’ll have lanterns & flashlights to help guide your way around the property at night (found in kitchen cabinet).
The basement has a fully stocked kitchenette, 2 bedrooms (1 king + 1 full bed) + a den with a queen sleeper sofa. You’ll have arcade games, a foosball table, karaoke machine, PlayStation 3 & board games to keep the fun flowing! This is the perfect house for multiple families to comfortably get away together. Plenty of space & 2 kitchens!
We strive to be the best family friendly property around! We provide parents with a stroller, high chair, white noise machine, baby monitor, pack-n-play w/ sheets, baby blankets, outlet covers, kids plates, silverware, cups, toy bin, hot chocolate, s’mores & of course a fun game room in the basement! Also, the children’s nature trail with a nature play area is just 2 miles from here!
We welcome pets! Dog bowls, treats & a dog bed are provided. We would appreciate that you bring a crate to crate your dog while away.

-Well behaved, house trained dogs welcome with $115 pet fee (2 dogs max). Please crate dog(s) while away, keep them off furniture & pick up after them. Dog bowls, bed & waste bags are provided.
-Parents: we provide the following items so you can pack lighter…pack-n-play, baby monitor, white noise machine & high chair. (All baby items can be found in the upstairs master closet)
-Please bring charcoal for the outside grill if you plan on using it.
-2 propane tanks are provided for the fire pit, but guests may need to exchange it for a full one if they run out.
-You may wish to bring a stocked cooler as the nearest full service grocery store is 30 minutes away. There is an IGA & Dollar General 5 mins away that are great for picking up drinks & common food items.
-Cabin is peaceful on the quieter section of route 151, though it is about 300’ off the road, so you might occasionally hear some traffic noise.
-The cabin is in the woods and bugs might occasionally make their way in. We try to hinder this as much as possible by getting it regularly treated by a pest control company. But, please know that bugs are part of country living here in the Blue Ridge and you will probably see some while here.
-Driveway entrance is shared with a neighbor. The cabin’s driveway veers immediately left. The neighbor’s driveway is past that. Please do not go onto neighbors property.
- Cabin is on a well/septic system. Please do not flush anything but #1, #2 and TP down the toilet and discard food scraps in trashcan. No grease should be put down the sink.
