You will feel like you are all alone in the world (and town is only 5 minutes away). If you want to escape, you found it! 360 views overlooking several famous peaks. The space
This remote cabin with loft is located on Mydnyt Mountain on a private 40 acres of untouched forest located 15 minutes outside of Woodland Park. Start your morning with stunning 360 views overlooking Pikes Peak, Crystal Mountain, and Raspberry Mountain. The cabin is surrounded by mountains of aspens and pines. If you can take your attention away from the views, there is a 75 inch LG Smart TV. You may be visited by herds of deer, red, gray and black foxes, bear, hummingbirds, black squirrels, stellar jays and tons of tiny chipmunks. Explore the forest on an adventurous hike, forest bathing or just just relax outdoors! There is a gas barbeque and patio furniture with the best views in the county. When you do come inside, you will still have the most amazing views out of each and every picture window.
The great room offers vaulted windows where you can enjoy even more stunning views. This main area has plenty of seating including bar stools in the kitchen area, and a dining table set, a gas fireplace that can be enjoyed on either level. Off to the side is the 3/4 bathroom. The loft area offers a King size bed and two queens. The loft features a low Moroccan style table area with pillow seats offering a more comfortable area for playing cards, hanging out and spending time with loved ones. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably.
The new salt water hot tub at the edge of the mountain is one of the reasons people come back.
The cabin comes equipped with excellent WIFI, all bedding, towels, cooking pans, utensils and stoneware. A book of nearby activities will be in the cabin as well as the map to our 40 acres if you choose to explore. We are 5 minutes away from Downtown Florissant and 15 minutes away from Woodland Park.

Guest access
You will have private access to the entire living area of the cabin. The warehouse below is used minimally while guests are present. There is no through traffic, it is our private road and it ends at the timber cabin made of solid wood beams, with vaulted ceilings, 360 mountain, forest and valley views. Come visit us and you won't want to go home.
Other things to note
Recent upgrades - new living and dining room furniture, oven, dishwasher, tankless water heater, new queen beds, all new bedding. We are now able to host up to 6 people comfortably.
No Chore List! We have a new 6 person salt water hot tub with incredible views. No neighbors to worry about. At night you will hear the wolves howl at the wolf sanctuary.
For activities, you are only 15 minutes from Woodland park where you can plan wine tastings, visit the Cave of the Winds, adventure to Manitou Springs, Santa's Workshop at the North Pole or visit the local Wolf Sanctuary for an interactive experience with real wolves!
If you are looking for even more, we are only located an hour from Colorado Springs, where you can plan your day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Some of the best fishing in the area at Spinney, Cheeseman, Rampart, Teryall, and Eleven Mile. Other activities are the Flying W Ranch, Gold Mine Tours and Casinos in Cripple Creek, Painted Rocks Park, Helen Hunt Falls, Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, Glen Eyre Castle, Pikes Peak, Miramonte Castle, Bishops Castle, North Pole/Santa's Workshop (open May-Dec), Ghost Town Museum, Cave Dwellings, and Seven Falls. There is so much to do in the area, but if you just want to stay and relax, this cabin is optimal.
Fire in the firepit will be restricted if there is an active burn ban. Outside furniture is provided for your added enjoyment. We provide firewood, a BBQ gas grill, coffee, coffee maker and more.
