Some info has been automatically translated.
The first and only creative cabin in Puerto Rico.

In the mountains of Aguas Buenas, you will find a space where the most beautiful things were not built by humans: peace, harmony and inspiration.

Musa Morada is that hidden corner where you can disconnect from the noise, reconnect with yourself, let nature speak to you and allow your creativity to flow.
Connect and create.

Welcome to Musa Morada!

The space
Musa Morada is a rustic cabin in the mountains of Aguas Buenas, surrounded by nature and designed for resting, creating, and disconnecting from the noise.

The master bedroom features a Split King bed (two adjustable XL Twin beds), which allows you to control each side independently. You can find your ideal position for sleeping, reading, writing or just resting. And in the morning, just open the doors to enjoy one of our favorite touches: the sunrises of Musa Morada.

The second room has large windows overlooking the garden, lots of natural light, and that feeling of being connected to the outdoors even while inside the cabin.

Guest access
During your stay, you can enjoy the cabin and all the gardens and outdoor areas of Musa Morada, including the front garden facing the road.

You will find different spots to sit, have a coffee, read, or simply enjoy nature and the tranquility of the mountains.

Musa Morada is also home to several animals that are part of the life of the property. You can go near the fenced-in area with the sheep and the horse to watch them, but you can't go in. You can also visit the chicken coop area and go over to see our macaw, always without opening the chicken coop or its cage.

Our Great Danes also have their own fenced-in area. They are not aggressive, but they can get nervous around people they don't know, so they may bark. For your peace of mind and that of our guests, we ask that you not approach their area.

Other things to note
🌅 Waking up in Musa Morada

One of our favorite moments at Musa Morada is sunrise. You can enjoy it from the cabana's large terrace or, if you're staying in the master bedroom, even without getting out of bed.

In the morning, it is very likely that the crowing of the rooster, the bleating of the sheep or the neighing of the horse will be part of your natural alarm clock.😊

🐴 Our animal friends

Musa Morada is also home to several animals that are part of the life and charm of the property. We want you to be able to get to know them and enjoy them during your visit, always with care.

-Sheep and horse: they have their own fenced spaces. You can go to the fence to watch them, take pictures of them, and enjoy their company. For your peace of mind and safety, we ask that you stay out of their fenced areas.

Hens: In the mornings, we give them time to leave the henhouse and enjoy their space freely. Then they return to the henhouse and stay there the rest of the time. So we appreciate you leaving it closed and enjoying them from the outside.

Macaw: lives in its cage, although sometimes you can find it outside enjoying its space. You can come and watch it and enjoy its company. If you find its cage closed, leave it that way. And whether it's inside or outside, it's best to enjoy it without trying to touch it, so that it also feels comfortable and calm.

Great Danes: They have their own fenced area. They are part of our family and, although they are not aggressive, they can get nervous around people they don't know. It's very likely that they'll bark when you arrive or when they see you, and then they'll go back to their usual calm.

Two small female dogs: they usually roam freely around the property and are very friendly. It's quite likely that at some point they'll come by to welcome you.

Cats: They also roam freely on the property. They go at their own pace, so you might see them strolling through the gardens or one of them might decide to come over and say hello.

Local fauna: since we are surrounded by nature, it is normal to find birds, coquí toads, frogs and other small visitors typical of our environment in the gardens. They are also part of Musa Morada. If any appear during your stay, we would appreciate it if you would respect them and not harm or kill them. The idea is simply to let it continue on its way and enjoy nature as it is.

Our animals have their own routines and diets. Therefore, although we know it may be tempting to pamper them, we appreciate it if you don't offer them food or approach their areas with food. That's how you help us take care of them.

💧 Water & Electricity

Musa Morada has an independent water supply and filtration system, so our service is not affected by the current water outages in Puerto Rico.

We also have an electric generator, so that a power outage does not affect your stay and you can continue to enjoy the cabin.

🚗 Transport

To enjoy more freedom during your stay, we recommend having your own vehicle. You can use Uber to get to Musa Morada from other areas; however, when you open the Uber app from Musa Morada, you usually won't find drivers available in the area to request a ride out.

If you need transportation at the end of your stay, we can help you with a departure service for an additional fee.

Just message us in advance to check availability, cost, and coordinate the details.

🌿 You're in the mountains

The cabin has many doors and windows that you can open to let in the breeze and enjoy the freshness and sounds of the surroundings.

The windows do not have screens, so when you open them, you are also opening the cabin to the nature that surrounds us.

🎥 Recordings and productions

We love that Musa Morada can serve as inspiration for creative projects. If you'd like to do a recording, photo shoot, or production for commercial purposes, please write to us beforehand to discuss your project. This type of use requires prior coordination and has an additional cost.

We will be glad if you consider our cabin as a setting for your project.

We hope you enjoy your stay, the nature, our animals, and every corner of Musa Morada!
