The Space:
A fully private studio in a medieval hilltop village, steps from a café, pizzeria, wine bar, and gelateria. Your terrace hangs above a green Tuscan valley. Inside: modern comfort wrapped in centuries-old stone.

The Ligurian coast, Cinque Terre, and Pisa are all within reach. But you may never want to leave.

The space
Wake up inside a piece of living history. The apartment is set within a medieval stone house in the heart of Mulazzo - one of Lunigiana's most beautiful hilltop villages - with a contemporary designed interior.

The space is intimate and complete: a comfortable double bed dressed in quality linens, a fully equipped kitchenette, a private bathroom, and fast Wi-Fi throughout.

But the real centrepiece is the terrace. A private stone outdoor platform perched above the Magra river valley - green, silent, and staggering. Bring a coffee in the morning. Bring wine at sunset. It earns both.

The village itself is an extension of the apartment: a café one minute away, a pizzeria three minutes, plus a wine bar, a restaurant, and a gelateria all within easy walking distance on cobblestone lanes.

Free private parking is available a 1–2 minute walk away (the historic streets are pedestrian-only, as in all true medieval villages).

Guest access
The entire apartment is yours - no shared spaces, no shared entrances. Self check-in means so you can arrive on your own schedule.

We live in the village and are always reachable. Whether you need a restaurant tip, tip for a hiking trail, or directions to the best local wine - just ask.

Other things to note
A car is recommended - Mulazzo is a peaceful village and public buses are infrequent. The nearest train station is Pontremoli, about 15 minutes away.

The apartment is inside a centuries-old stone building: entrances and staircases are narrow and characterful, as you'd expect from a genuine medieval home.

The village church bell chimes through the day - it quickly becomes part of the rhythm.

The village is steeped in history: Dante Alighieri passed through and was hosted here by the Malaspina family (the Torre di Dante still stands). The nearby hamlet of Montereggio is Italy's famous "village of booksellers," with its own annual Book Festival every August. Every summer, the BancarelVINO wine prize festival fills the piazza with local producers and tastings.
