Mount happy is a stand alone mountain house in a small himalyan village Hallan-1 sitting right across heritage town 'Naggar' nestled in the beautiful and bountiful upper Kullu valley. In the middle of infinte apple farms, the house sits pretty on a sunny mountain slope overlooking Chandrakhani pass and staring into the Dhauladhars.
In a valley surrounded by snow touched mountains, we live by nature, with nature.
The space
The residence of Mount Happy is a standalone double storeyed garden house. Situated on a mountain slope of Hallan that gazes at the divine expanse of Chandrakhani Pass, you can drive in to the garden and step up to the first floor.
As you enter through the wooden door, the floor opens up into a meandering hall that is the central living space and the lobby. It has a stone laid fireplace with cosy seating arrangement and a bed to laze in the warmth as you stare out through the window that frames the southern sky.
At an arms length is a well equipped modular kitchen which will facilitate the foodie in you and enable you to cook and serve culinery delights.
The hall leads to 4 spacious bedrooms with tall windows that peeps into the glorious outdoors and portable heating equipment (charges apply) that keeps the indoors warm.
The master bedroom has an attached bathroom equipped with a bathtub and hotwater. The other rooms share a conveniently placed big bathroom which too is equipped with a bathtub and hotwater.
In a world of confinement and quarantine, it is a perfect getaway for a family or a group of six to eight people travelling together who crave to enjoy a private holiday in the Himalayas or a work vacation in the mountains.
We do, of course, provide simple breakfast and lunch on prior orders, but we encourage guests to live elaborately and deliberately by cooking for themselves. One of the living spaces is also fitted with a 'tandoor' which is a traditional wood burning heater (prior notice and charges apply for firewood).
The house is spread across 1500 sqft.
Guest access
All guests will have access to kitchen, common bathroom, fireplace, rooftop and garden areas.

We have a 50 mbps WiFi broadband which can be scaled up to 100 Mbps on cost to cost basis and at one day notice.
