A private apartment in our family home with its own peaceful space and outdoor area, just 2 km from Podčetrtek and Terme Olimia. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and recharge. Wake up to quiet mornings, vineyards, and rolling hills. Spend your days walking, cycling, or visiting local farms. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine in peace. In winter, relax on the traditional bread oven with a book — a simple, authentic retreat close to nature.

The space
The house was built in the 80s by my grandmother and later renovated and updated by my mom, so basically an all girl team to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible. There is one large separate bedroom, a kitchen with a raised bar-like table, a bathroom and large living room where a traditional bread oven is located. This oven, once warm, will stay warm for around three days and is able to bake seven loaves of bread at once. The smell is just amazing. During the warmer months, the best spot to relax is definitely in the shade on the front porch overlooking the lovely hills just over in Croatia with a glass of wine or a simple cup of coffee.

Guest access
Guests have their own private space in front of the house. You’re also very welcome to walk around the backyard, where my family and I may be sitting, as well as explore the grassy terraces below the house for more privacy.

The house is situated about 2km from the centre of Podčetrtek, in the hills overlooking the entire region and has views of many churches, castles and the natural beauty all across into Croatia. The street itself is very peaceful and quiet as all the houses nearby are only used for holidays or weekends.
