The space
The Villa is the perfect place to spend a few days or even a Sabbatical at home. The chalet is spacious, beautifully designed, and warm during the cold days of the Windy-Misty Season. The woodwork is phenomenal and a real treasure built by locals. Each bedroom has all the basic needs, including pretty comfy beds.
The designated working space can be selected and arranged by guests. There are several options in the house to create exactly the space needed to work. There are three living rooms inside the house and one on the balcony. One has a TV for those who can't miss their favorite show.
The kitchen is large and fully equipped and with a great view of the gardens, forest, and wildlife. If you are a Nature Lover, you will fall in love with the house and its location.
There are two bathrooms conveniently located in the house. One is upstairs with a bathtub and one downstairs with a spacious shower. The hot water is never a problem in this house. There's a water heater installed. There is hot water in the kitchen to do the dishes while watching the hummingbirds outside.
The laundry area is by the balcony, and there's a washer and dryer. However, the laundry line is the best option to get that fresh and sunny smell in all your clothes.
The gardens, forested area, and the skate bowl are free extra features that no other property in Monteverde can offer. There's a vegetable garden and fruit trees on site.

Guest access
Guests have access to all the property. The chalet's unique design makes you feel right at home. There is one small room that is a storage unit. That room will be locked.
There are blackberry bushes, lemons, oranges, corn, spinach, potatoes, carrots, squash, and more around the house and in the vegetable garden. The garden and forest attract a large variety of birds and butterflies. You can spend the entire day watching the wildlife around the house and the neighborhood.
We even have some skateboards and helmets for our guests.
Enjoy the Skate Bowl. The top-secret is that you can dry anything there faster.
Other things to note
The Chalet is in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by more forest than houses. There are two supermarkets, restaurants, an ATM, a bank, a bakery, a playground, and exercise machines nearby. Several attractions are in the neighborhood, such as the Monteverde Butterfly Garden, The Ecological Sanctuary, Hidden Valley Trails, Aguti Reserve, The Monteverde Waterfall, Cerro Amigos, The Bat Jungle, CASEM, and many others.
There is a Medical Center around the corner. There is a public Elementary School and the private Cloud Forest School.
The public bus stop and the cab's parking area are around the corner too.
The Cerro Plano community is the oldest in the county. One of the most visited lookouts is five minutes away. The sunset views overlooking the Pacific Ocean could be stunning.
All these places are within walking distance. There are many more destinations you can walk to or drive.
