Welcome to the most peaceful and tranquil place in the world. Our beautiful home is situated on 3 acres of private land with a private pond and incredible views of the mountains. Escape your life and stressors, and come stay in the fresh air where all you will hear are birds chirping - no sirens, cars or people.

The cottage is fully stocked to be enjoyed for all 4 seasons! Relax in the hot tub, or go for a swim in the pond. Our property is the perfect vacation getaway.

The space
Our home is newly renovated and remodeled old hunting cabin. We have furnished and set up the home so that it is everything you could need and want to relax, cook, and take in stunning views.

Each bedroom has memory foam mattresses and crisp white linens. Window units for air conditioning are also available, however the nights do get chilly and they are rarely needed.

We are also set up for anyone who is working from home. Our internet is very strong and we have portable desks you can set up in the bedrooms, outside or in the living room. We want you to enjoy our home during the week right into the weekend!

Our home is fully stocked with anything you could need to enjoy your stay in the catskills. Everything you need is provided. The kitchen has lots of counter space, and is fully furnished with dinnerware, kitchen appliances and a gas range.

Enjoy a cappuccino from our Nespresso machine and milk frother. We provide nespresso pods for your stay :)

We provide all the sheets and towels you will need (including pool towels), as well as shampoo conditioner and body wash. Additional toilet paper and paper towels are stored in the bathroom closet.

The outside deck is furnished with a 6 seater dining table, outdoor couches, bbq, umbrella and hot tub. Please note that because snowy weather can continue into April/May, the outdoor furniture is only available for use from Memorial Day. On the grass you can enjoy laying out on sun loungers, or under the umbrella as you take in the views from the Adirondack chairs. Connect to Bluetooth speakers both inside and outside to set the vibe for your day :) Feel free to also use google home indoors to play music and turn on the fairy lights outside.

Light a fire and take in the views as you cook on our outdoor fire pit grill, or roast marshmallows an nosh on s'mores. Firewood and kindling are provided for all our guests.

Our spring-fed pond is safe for swimming and tubing. Please note that it is a natural pond, and with a natural pond comes local fauna and flora. You will find harmless frogs and pond life. There are no fish. We treat the pond consistently with a range of all natural and safe pond cleaners and products to ensure the water is clear, blue, and clean!

The spa is set to 104 degrees year round and is ready to use at any point! No waiting on heating required. We keep the water perfectly clean with necessary chemicals and treatments. Rest assured knowing that it is safe and clean for your use.

Our living room is cozy and comfortable to lounge and play games (stored in the media cabinet) or watch tv. TV includes access to netflix, hulu, sling, and amazon prime. Washer and dryer are in the mudroom for your use.

In fall, take in the incredible foliage right in our back yard, or from the many breweries and cider houses in town. In winter, enjoy tubing down our sloped yard or skiing down one one of the 4 ski slopes near the house. Plattekill is the closest mountain only 10 minutes drive from our home.

Neighborhood highlights

Our little slice of heaven is called Denver, NY. We live on Howard Greene Road, which used to be farmland owned by the Greene Family. Howard's son, and his family still live on this street and you can say hi if you see them walking their cute pup Dusty on our road.

We are tucked away in the mountains, but a short 10 minute drive to our local town of margretville where you can find restaurants, coffee shops and our local CVS and grocery store. Recommendations are posted in our guidebook!

Hi there! My wife, Kim, and I have hosted on Airbnb for a few years and have really loved getting to meet so many people. We are both transplants to NY and we are proud to call it our home. Both Kim and I were born in South Africa - I lived there my whole life until moving to NY in my 20’s and Kim grew up in CA and moved around the US before settling in New York. Our home in the Catskills is our happy place. We are so in love with the area and with our property and we can’t wait for you to also experience the magic that happens here :)
