The space
The perfect getaway! This unit has 360 degree views of mountains, sea and rivers. Perched on the top of Hoekwil, overlooking Wilderness and the Serpentine. The unit is private but close enough to the village for great food, live music, forest trails and our plants, which are sold at Floreer Shop beside the HOEKWIL Cafe. There are braai facilities, air-conditioning, plus an outdoor shower and hot tub. E-bike rentals and guided tours are available upon request, as well as picnic baskets. THE DECK located on the North slope, perfect for a sun downer. Units are clean, comfortable and basically designed to fit into their natural surroundings. Pet friendly. Kindly note that the one FULL bathroom is separate from both rooms here at The Nook, giving both guests in each room access to the toilet/indoor bath and shower from the outside verandah area. It’s a gorgeous venue for a get away with friends and family. If you are looking for a personal or en-suite bathroom then we suggest book unit 2. Just giving you a heads up! The indoor bathroom here at The Nook, is completely private with curtains and a door so that nobody can see into the bathroom but it is shared with both rooms here (or all guests booking into No.3/The Nook).

Lovely farming village, filled with small holdings, quaint cafes, live music and a beautiful Nursery that sells plants, fresh produce and art. Locals are incredibly friends and helpful. There are many hiking and mountain biking trails, 4x4 routes and beautiful drives to do nearby. Just down the hill is a selection of world-class beaches to choose from, lagoons and rivers where you can kayak.
