Shodoshima Midaso Matsuya Olive Shokai, which grows olives in its own groves and produces and sells olive oil and pickles, has now obtained a hotel business license and opened Onyado Miyomatsu.This inn is located in Ikima, a small coastal village in the western part of Shodoshima.This place name, Igisue, is derived from the legend that Emperor Ojin visited Shodoshima in a long time ago, and it is said that the "breathless" of the Emperor's resting on this beach was written in the word Ikisue.There are pathways through a village lined with old houses, and on both sides of the elderly are sitting and resting, and in the middle of the alley is sunshine.Maybe the old man and the cats are still secretly protecting the treasures that the emperor gave me as a souvenir."Onjuku Miyomatsu" is tucked away in the middle of the village.We have a high-quality and quiet accommodation space, leaving the layout of an old-fashioned farmhouse as it is.It is limited to one group per day and can accommodate up to 8 people, making it ideal for a special time with family or friends.Depending on the season and time of year, you can also visit and experience olive harvesting and processing, so please contact us.
The space
We provide a spacious area centered around a living and dining room with an impressive large atrium.With a high ceiling and an open design with skylights, you can wake up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping while feeling the natural light and the gentle air of the Seto Inland Sea, and spend a relaxing evening gazing at the star-filled sky.There are 3 Japanese-style rooms, 8 tatami mats, 6 tatami mats, and 4.5 tatami mats, and it can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people.Enjoy a high-quality rest in a calm setting.The building is equipped with a toilet, washroom and bathroom.There is also a space with a grand piano and a full-fledged tea room in the separate building. If you let us know in advance, you can enjoy a special time experiencing music and Japanese culture.
Guest access
There is a staff member in the separate building on the premises, so please let them know if you need anything.Please refrain from entering the olive workshop and the storehouse, as they are not yet ready.

- Please be especially quiet at night (10 pm to 7 am the next day).
