HOT SPRINGS POOL (IMPORTANT)
The Terrace Lakes Resort hot springs pool is NOT included in your Airbnb reservation—it's a separate resort amenity with a small daily fee (typically $10-15 per person, pay at resort office).
Hours vary by season. The pool is geothermal, heated year-round, and absolutely worth the fee. You can literally see the steam rising from our back cabin window.
The resort also has a restaurant and bar (walking distance, separate charges).
You're staying at our private cabin ON the resort property—you have access to resort amenities by paying their fees directly.
WATER & PLUMBING
We have a remineralized reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen. It tastes noticeably cleaner and crisper than standard tap water.
Plumbing note: We're on a cabin septic system. Please only flush toilet paper (no wipes, feminine products, or paper towels). Be mindful of water usage. The system works great when treated respectfully.

WiFi is fast and reliable (suitable for Zoom calls, file uploads, streaming).

HOT SPRINGS POOL (IMPORTANT)
The Terrace Lakes Resort hot springs pool is NOT included in your Airbnb reservation—it's a separate resort amenity with a small daily fee (typically $10-15 per person, pay at resort office).
Hours vary by season. The pool is geothermal, heated year-round, and absolutely worth the fee. You can literally see the steam rising from our back cabin window.
The resort also has a restaurant and bar (walking distance, separate charges).
You're staying at our private cabin ON the resort property—you have access to resort amenities by paying their fees directly.
WATER & PLUMBING
We have a remineralized reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen. It tastes noticeably cleaner and crisper than standard tap water.
Plumbing note: We're on a cabin septic system. Please only flush toilet paper (no wipes, feminine products, or paper towels). Be mindful of water usage. The system works great when treated respectfully.
THE SWEDISH SHOWER
Our 2026 shower remodel was designed by Swedish creative Ryan Benson, inspired by sauna culture. You'll notice:
- Bamboo ridge fluted tile (texture + visual warmth)
- Black hexagon flooring (grounding, spa-like)
- Diffused lighting (mimics Nordic bathing rituals)
This isn't a standard cabin bathroom. Take your time. Enjoy the experience. It's designed for mindful unwinding.
SEASONAL CONSIDERATIONS
WINTER (December-March):
- Roads are maintained, but this is mountain driving—4WD/AWD strongly recommended
- Bring warm layers, winter boots, and snow gear
- Tubing hill is directly across the street (small admission fee, equipment rental available)
- Snowshoeing the golf course is magical and free
- Hot springs in falling snow is an unforgettable experience
- Propane heat keeps the cabin cozy; portable heaters in bedrooms if needed
SUMMER (June-August):
- Portable A/C units keep main floor and loft comfortable (it gets warm in an A-frame)
- Book early—summer weekends fill fast
- River activities peak in July (rafting, kayaking)
- Hot springs less crowded on weekday mornings
- Golf course open for play (fees at resort)
SPRING/FALL (April-May, September-November):
- Shoulder season = fewer crowds, better availability, ideal weather
- Perfect for remote work (fast WiFi, peaceful setting, massage breaks)
- Best hiking/biking temperatures
- Hot springs practically to yourself mid-week
- Most photogenic seasons (fall colors, spring blooms)
PARKING & ROAD ACCESS
Three dedicated parking spaces at the cabin. Overflow parking at Terrace Lakes Resort office (2-minute walk).
Year-round access—roads are maintained. Standard vehicles fine in summer/fall. Winter requires 4WD/AWD and mountain driving confidence.
GPS works. Cell service is solid (Verizon and AT&T confirmed).
ID VERIFICATION & SECURITY
We have exterior security cameras monitoring the cabin entry area and parking spaces only. No interior cameras. No cameras in private spaces. This is for property security and your safety.
REMOTE WORK SETUP
WiFi is fast and reliable (suitable for Zoom calls, file uploads, streaming).
Dedicated workspace at dining table with natural light and forest views. Multiple Smart TVs if you need a second screen. Cell service works for hotspot backup.
The vibe: Productive mornings, hot springs afternoons, arcade evenings. Remote work was never this balanced.

GROUP SIZE & EXTRA GUESTS

If your group size changes after booking, please update your reservation—we're flexible, we just need accurate headcount for bedding and safety.
NO PARTY POLICY (SERIOUSLY)
This cabin is designed for creative play, strategic thinking, wellness, and connection—not parties.
We have neighbors. We want to keep good relationships with them and the resort. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced. Quiet hours 10pm-8am.
Violations result in immediate cancellation without refund. We've never had to do this—our guests get the vibe—but it needs to be said.
SMOKING & SUBSTANCES
No smoking anywhere on the property (including deck and outdoor areas). This includes cigarettes, vaping, and cannabis products.
Idaho is not a recreational cannabis state. Please respect state and federal laws.
BRINGING KIDS?
Families love this place. The arcade keeps kids entertained. The strategic games are educational without feeling like homework. Dr. Seuss collection covers ages 3-10. Hot springs work for all ages (supervision required).
The loft has three single beds perfect for kids. Flexible bedding configurations. Pack-n-play available upon request.
Kid-friendly but not childproofed—this is a vintage A-frame with stairs, arcade equipment, and collectible games. Supervision required.
PETS
Not currently pet-friendly due to future guests with allergies. We love dogs (truly), but we need to keep the space allergen-free. Thank you for understanding.
CHECKOUT
11:00 AM checkout. Please:
- Take out trash to Terrace Lakes Green bins
- Turn off all lights, TVs, A/C units
- Lock up using smart lock
That's it. No crazy cleaning requirements. We have a professional cleaning service—you're on vacation, not working.

WiFi is reliable for work/streaming. If you need guaranteed cell connectivity for work calls, Verizon is your best bet.
GROCERY & SUPPLIES
Closest full grocery store: Crouch (15 minutes) or Horseshoe Bend (25 minutes)
Boise (1 hour): Full shopping, Costco, Whole Foods, Target, etc.
We recommend stocking up in Boise on your way in. The cabin has a full kitchen—cooking here is part of the experience (especially with that Seattle coffee shop counter).
Small convenience items available at Terrace Lakes Resort office.
